Dude has there ever been an internet petition that has worked? I would have to say no.

Yea, it's a pretty well known fact that internet petitions don't work.  Think about it, paper/signature/"real" petitions RARELY work, and since it's technically not that difficult to fake every signature on an internet petition, do you really think anyone of any influence puts any stock into it? It's a nice idea and your heart's in the right place, but it's just not going to work.

Actually, there was a petition to lift the censorship on the Dragonball manga(American version of a Japanese comic) and it worked. The petition got about 10,000+ signatures and the censor was taken away.

Really? I'm surprised... think about it, all a petition really says is that people are mad about it.  It doesn't even give an empty threat!

I remember hearing about the blue meanie petition as a footnote somewhere.  What was it all about?

In addition, it was also an online petition. And the company even released a statement addressing the petition, so it wasn't a coincidence. Still hard to believe to this day.

Meltzer said something in passing that they could still use the WWF title in the US, not worldwide, didn't he?
