Guest Bosstones Fan Report post Posted May 5, 2002 Ok guys, this has become a problem for my girlfriend and I lately, so I'm just wondering: when you're driving down the road with your girlfriend in the car, who's in control of the radio? My theory is that when we're in my truck, I'M in control of the music and on the rare occasions when we take her car SHE can have control of it. Her theory is that we should listen to something that we both like....but the problem is that I'm into Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and other stuff while she thinks Michelle Branch and Pink are wonderful, so we end up fighting over what to listen to because we can't ever agree on anything. Does this ever happen to anyone else? If it does, what do you guys do about it? Or should I just dump her and find someone else?

Guest Kinetic Report post Posted May 6, 2002 I'd say dumping a girl because you disagree with her taste in music is shallow, but that would make me a hypocrite. Just take turns with the radio, if you can stand it.
Guest Human Fly Report post Posted May 6, 2002 The stuff she likes may not be the greatest but, at least she's not listening to country. If she does I say dump her at once.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 6, 2002 Well if it's that pop country shite i agree. However the old guys like Johnny Cash that sung about drinking fighting and serving time is good shit.
