At a shrink's, you'll lie on the couch talking about your depression over your weight while being completely ignorant to what will lose that weight - eating right and exercise, mainly the latter. If you really do want to lose the weight, so much so that you're depressed, you'll do the exercise. Try and cut down the shit food too, but if you can't so much, at least you'll feel better because you're getting physical exercise - believe me, you will. As a matter of fact, the physical exercise has the potential to motivate you to eat less, because you'll want to do all you can to lose weight. Just don't give up, cliched as it sounds. It'll pay off in the end. I know that this post means nothing to you, but think about it. In a while, you might even be able to post a photo of yourself that you're proud of.
