I want to know what he's done for Flint.

It's great that he brings them up and how awful it is there now, but what has he given back to the city? The whole idea of Roger & Me is that it's wrong to just be out to make money and you have an obligation to give back to your city. At the end of Roger & Me he says this film cannot be shown in the city of Flint because all the theatres have closed. Surely he could've built one.

Well at the time of the release, not at all, but at the present day, surely he has enough money to give back to the community that did so much for him.

All Mikey has to do is go eat at a diner in Flint. He could put the owner's kids and his grandkids through college with one of his "meals".

 

I'd think that could be considered giving back to the town.

... and if you're referring to Michael Moore, you're an idiot. He's no left wing filmmaking pioneer fighting for truth and justice. At least not for the most part. For the most part, he's providing views that stir up controversy and he does this via half-truths. The guy doesn't outright lie, but I guarantee you that he has the ability to turn an idiot from Republican to Democrat.

Well I generally believe nothing that the federal government tells me and if that makes me an idiot then so be it.

It doesn't make you an idiot. It makes you paranoid and kind of crazy.
