Guest Mole Report post Posted May 6, 2002 I've heard that the plan is to have Hogan loose the title to Austin at SummerSlam, Austin being the heel. Thus, passing the torch from Hogan to Austin. I don't think they should pass it to Austin. He is getting older now, doesn't give a shit in the ring, and is loosing his heat. Passing the torch to SCSA wouldn't be the right idea. Hogan should loose his last match to Kurt Angle. Angle still has a lot more years left in him, and he could play to perfect heel to Hogan. Since Angle is a great wrestler, he probably could carry Hogan to the best match possible.
Guest godthedog Report post Posted May 6, 2002 hogan v. austin is one of the very few 'dream' matches left in the world, & the wwF aren't about to pass it up. i only hope hogan loses the title before then, & the 2 just have a straight-up match. and since when has austin been losing his heat? have you seen the fans chant 'what' on smackdown, a show austin isn't even on? have you noticed that when he's a face, anyone he's against will get booed? not even the rock has that kind of heat. i'd actually like to see austin get booed against hogan (cause he works better as a heel), but i don't think it would happen. i personally want to see hogan/austin, if for no other reason than to see austin start laughing when hogan hulks up, then flick him off & give him the stunner. i too would LOVE to see hogan lose the belt to angle, but his future with the wwF is still up in the air. it would make more sense to see him drop the title to a main eventer that is a true company man, like trips or jericho. Guest converge241 Report post Posted May 6, 2002 Nicholas Bollea. he is the only one who has any control over Hogan. Id like to see it be Austin. No way as a heel though.
Guest Brian Report post Posted May 6, 2002 Isn't it said if Rock retires before Hogan?
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted May 6, 2002 I think it's pretty obvious that Hogan isn't ever going to retire.

Guest toggle Report post Posted May 7, 2002 Hogan is some sort of vampire I think. Or a zombie. Something of that nature. These guys just can't let go of the spotlight.
Guest Singular Report post Posted May 7, 2002 I guess we can take comfort in the hope that some day Hogan's hip is going to break while he's dropping his big boot.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted May 7, 2002 When he needs the walker to pull off the rope-run post Hulk Up, I'll be finally content. Personally, I think Jericho or Angle would benefit most from it, as it'd really be a passing of the torch to a guy still relatively young in his WWF career. Something in me says that it would work best for Jericho, since he's the cocky, vain, heel and already has heat with Hogan from this last month. Angle's big battle-dork wouldn't gain as much from it, I don't think. The Austin/Hogan match will happen, though, hopefully fairly soon after Austin/Flair, though I expect that to go one for another month of action too. Once Austin's dealt with the old guys perhaps he'll be ready to get back into wrestling the guys who really have a future with the company in the ring. Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted May 7, 2002 I guess we can take comfort in the hope that some day Hogan's hip is going to break while he's dropping his big boot. What's your problem? That's the 2nd time I've seen you happy at the possible injury of a wrestler (Jeff Hardy being the other).
Guest Singular Report post Posted May 7, 2002 You should cry about it.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted May 7, 2002 I'm not going to get worked up about it, I just think it's a bit odd that you take pleasure in people getting injured.
Guest Singular Report post Posted May 7, 2002 I dont take pleasure in people getting injured. The Jeff Hardy remark was simply insinuating that I believe if he continues his style of "oh my god" type bumps, he may very well end up unable to wrestle anymore or worse. I retract my comment about Hogan breaking his hip since it did lead to belive I enjoy people getting injured. My mistake.

Guest Mole Report post Posted May 7, 2002 and since when has austin been losing his heat? Actually, last week's Raw, SCSA came out to no heat. Plus, he looked like he utterly didn't wanna be there.
