M-pro 10 man tags

I'm just curious what the best 10 man tag from M-Pro is? I've seen the 10-10-96 one and that was incredible, is there any better ones out there? Also on a side note what do people think Super Dephin's best match is?

I've seen both 10/10 and 12/16, and I'd vote for 10/10.  I thought it was ***** the first time I saw it, but it didn't hold up the second time.  Probably the most spectacular juniors match I've seen, but certainly not best.

12/16/96 is the best heat wise as it wrapped up the first half of the KDX v Sekigun story.  10/10/96 has better pacing and more of good flow though the 12/16 match is often praised for being more RAW.

12/9/96 (ELimination match) is very good too, probably the third best.

I recall Yakushiji's selling being really bad during 12/16.

"I recall Yakushiji's selling being really bad during 12/16."

When was Yakushiji's selling ever really good though?  The thing that has soured me on the 12/16 match is the lack of structure in the match.  I like the flow of the 10/10, 12/1, and 12/9 matches a lot better, though the finish and the heat for the 12/16 match is very good.  The 12/9 match is unique for the elimination stipulation and was booked very well.

I think people who call the 12/16 the best match of the 10 man tags in MPro need to rewatch the whole feud in order.  12/16 is a great blowoff to part ONE of the series, but it is not the best match, from a technical and execution standpoint.

Speaking of juniors, rewatching Ultimo/Ohtani 8/96 yesterday made me realize how badly Ultimo Dragon is missed.  This guy looked like the greatest worker in the world here.  He had the high flying repetoire that I love, but he also combined the UWF style kicks and submissions, making for such an extraordinary worker.  And Ohtani is such a great storyteller, with those super facial expressions that guys like Minoru Tanaka only wished they had.  Similar to Rey vs. Eddy from Havoc '97, this is junior wrestling at its best and stuff that's got to be seen by everyone.  I'm still pissed that I never got a chance to see Ultimo-Rey from WW3 '96, since I hear it's abfab as well.

Terrific match.  The first New Japan Junior match that made really love and understand the more psychology based Japanese Junior style of wrestling.

Dragon was definetly a great worker.  Just the fact that he had MOTYC in Japan, Mexico, and the US says something about his tremendous skill and diversity in being able to work in front of different types of audiences.

8/96 is the height of Ohtani's in ring facial expressions for me.  His role as the spunky babyface is so well played out in the Dragon match.  Absolutely a thing of beauty.

Get it.  It is well worth watching.  Have you seen the 3/16/96 Rey Jr v Juve match yet?

No, but I'm sure to pick it up at some point.  How's the VQ on it?  I heard their 3/9/96 ECW match is a tremendous spotfest as well.

Shoot me an email, I have it.  Perfect VQ as I got it straight from Barnett.  I also have the ECW matches, while they are not as good as the Tijuana match, they are very fun.
