Guest Brian Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 First time I've done one of these. Recover from your drinking, watch the show.
Guest Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 well, I am gonna make a road trip to hartford to go to the show, its only about 3 hours from here, watchout for the "chris shepard is gay" sign . Later --Rob
Guest Tony149 Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 First time I've done one of these. Recover from your drinking, watch the show. I can tell it's your first time. You forgot to put "The One & Only" before Raw. WHY BRIAN WHY?! At least you put the date on it.
Guest converge241 Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 Im actually debating driving down from the Boston area, just to be there in person to see them "GET THE F OUT" ((half-joking))
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 World Wrestling Entertainment. I will never utter those words. I wonder who will be the first to call it such and who will be the first to slip and call it the WWF. Does anyone know what Hogan will be dong tonight (besides embarrasing himself and the wrestling business in general)?
Guest Brian Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 I gues the only match announced is the six man tag. Hope they milk the Flair turn for as much as they can, and not hot-shot it tonight.
Guest JHawk Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 I hope if they turn Flair, it's not to the nWo, which I stated in another thread. I don't give a shit if the nWo needs the heat, don't make Flair the scapegoat.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 I hope milking is all they do, and have the nWo use Flair to get what they want before kicking his ass and just making them look like dastardly heels. Flair then has to get the fans respect back as well as the wrestlers and it could be somewhat interesting.
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 Ok. Flair is turning on Austin. We know it already. When he's going to do it is the question. Personally, I'd hold off on Flair doing it tonight. A scenario, if you weel.... Have Bradshaw tied up Hall or Pac (or both) on the outside. Austin is in the ring, about to get chokeslammed by Show. Flair comes in, ballshots Show and Austin gets let down and rolls to the outside. Flair then attempts to bring it home for team Nature Boy, only to get chizzokeslammed to hizzell. It would somewhat redeem Flair in the eyes of the common fan because he sacrificed himself for his team and saved Austin. After the match it would be smart to do a big "Cactus/Chainsaw" thing with faces like RVD and The Hardyz coming out to see if Flair is ok. That would make the situation all the more serious. Austin himself could even check on Flair when the medics are taking him away. The turn him next week, that way the majority of doubters have turned back to Flair side on things.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 I like the split because I'm looking forward to a show instead of things being business as usual (another day, another show). I am looking forward to seeing Booker T, Lesnar, Guerrero, RVD and company. I am hoping an exciting new chapter will develop tonight in the Austin/Flair saga. I think the split has been good for me so far. Now can you dig that, sucka?
Guest Kinetic Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 I just hope it's better than last week. As long as Flair wears a shirt when he wrestles, it's all gravy.
Guest HartFan86 Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 I want to see who gets punished for the Plane incident.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 Bradshaw and Xpac, get them off my TV
Guest Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 I hope D'lo Brown is on Raw, but I know he won't be.
Guest Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 No matches are being announced for Raw except the one announced last week. This usually means it will be a shitty show when they don't announce the matches on wwf.com.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 X-Pac isn't as bad as people make him out to be. He's a heel, you're supposed to dislike heels. His match quality has increased since his stale period during 1999-2000. He made last week's NWO match watchable for me.
Guest Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 Yeah, but I think X-Pac gets Bossman heat. Like "I hope you die" rather than "I hate this guy" heat that Angle and Jericho get. X-Pac, in my opinion, is good. But he knows he's secure through friends and therefore doesn't work to his potential. He can be good when he wants to be and when he's motivated. Easily the best in the NWO(though not saying much right now). Personally, I have nothing against him since I don't know what goes on backstage.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 X-Pac can't do a lot of the high risk stuff he used to do because he hurt his neck.
Guest goodhelmet Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 No matches are being announced for Raw except the one announced last week. This usually means it will be a shitty show when they don't announce the matches on wwf.com. Did you watch last week's pitiful excuse for a show? And they had 6 matches announced prior. The matches announced prior to the show doesn't always determine how good the show will be.
Guest Ash Ketchum Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 No matches are being announced for Raw except the one announced last week. This usually means it will be a shitty show when they don't announce the matches on wwf.com. Bobo... it's WWE.COM now. *brands it into his forehead* And as for WWE RAW... ummmm... no comment. *watches JR slip up and call it WWF RAW* *sound of cash register going off for a lawsuit* Damn panda-huggers... we shall have our revenge... (BTW, it's the people, not the pandas. Don't blame the pandas or Edwin will kill you all)
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 The first WWE show ever. Hogan is the first ever undisputed WWE champion. WWE Judgment day is right around the corner. This is going to suck.
Guest Ash Ketchum Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 The first WWE show ever. Hogan is the first ever undisputed WWE champion. WWE Judgment day is right around the corner. This is going to suck. Yep. that sums it up for me.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 When is Judgement Day? I'm totally uninterested in it and I have no clue as to when it is.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 I don't know when it is either. Fuck the WWE.
Guest Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 ...What the hell is UP with those topless women making out in the RAW opening? ...not that I'm complaining, of course, but...
Guest Ash Ketchum Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 JR just caught himself. and they're WWE championships. Better than World Wrestling Championships.
Guest Flyboy Posted May 7, 2002 Report Posted May 7, 2002 "World Wrestling Federa-- Entertainment." -- JR
