In hockey, I wore 14 for awhile, but then this new guy moved in from out of town, and his dad was helping my dad coach.  Anyway, he wore 14, too, so, being the nice guy that I am, I graciously let him have it and took 7 instead.

In hockey, I tried to get 99 (Gretzky) 77 (Bourque) or 4 (Orr). If none were available, I went for 88. Not for Lindros, but because it looks like "BB" or Boston Bruins. I know, I'm obsessed.

 

I tried to get 45 in baseball, usually ended up with 3

Football (7th grade): 50

I had 46 in high school football.  Once I moved to where I am now they didn;t have ice hockey so I didn't really get to play past pee wees

Baseball: In Little League, they just gave us any old number.  Once I got into other leagues, though, I always took 99.  Ditto in the softball leagues I used to be in.

 

Football: 99.

 

Water Polo: 1 when I was the goalie (required), 19 all other times.
