Guest SP-1 Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 So I'm trying to uninstall a program, but it's kind of refusing to uninstall. It begins the process but towards the end of the "Collecting the information" phase, it just kind of stops and sits. The system freezes soon after this and I just have to shut it off. Any thoughts?
Guest DubWiser Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 It's clearly become sentient and doesn't want to be terminated. The only way to solve this problem is to initiate your self-destruct sequence.
Guest SP-1 Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 Awesome. I've been looking for a nemesis. I never thought it would be old friend, Mister Vaio. I wound up just system-restoring is back to before I installed the program. This seems to have solved the problem. Yay for System Restore.
