Wasn't the original idea back from the old Smarks days that if you wrote a good column Scott Keith would see it then hire you? That's how Loss4Words got his spot on the Smarks site. Couldn't you or Goodhelmet go in there once and awhile to read some columns. If you saw something good, e-mail or PM the person and tell them to write another column/review to you guys via e-mail to make sure they can keep the good stuff rolling, and for a chance to get their stuff posted on the website. Even if it isn't used for tryouts, why not keep it open for the posters on this board who would like some practice honing their skills. Or it could be used as an outlet for the posters on this board. Just because they aren't part of the big site doesn't mean they shouldn't have a forum for whatever they may chose to write about. Sometimes when I'm bored I read a few of columns in that folder and I respond positively or I offer some constructive criticism. That's how I think the folder should be used.
