therealworldschampion Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 The NFL should be happy that the three teams from the NFC that can make the SB are big market popular draws (Favre and the Pack, McNabb/TO Philly Connection and Mr. Excitment Michael Vick). I'm sure Seattle pisses their way into it just because. Oh lord I don't want Atlanta in the Super Bowl, simply because ESPN will give Vick the biggest media hummer ever.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 51-48. Bengals and we still got like 6 to go.
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 Um, folks.. The Pack aren't a lock to make the playoffs just quite yet, as much as I'd love to believe it. They've got the Rams tommorrow night, the Eagles on a short week, then they've still got to play these Jaguars who've played the Vikings VERY close, and Detroit at home, and finish the season on the road back to back against their two biggest rivals in the NFL (Minne-ha-ha and Chicago). The birds (both the dirty and the choking kind) have easy schedules to finish out the season, so they are locks.
therealworldschampion Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 I bet you the combined score there is double what the over/under was originally.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 Poor Bengals fans with their D and Fence signs.. They must not be watching the game or they would no theres been no Defense in this game...
Slayer Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 51-48. Bengals and we still got like 6 to go. 99 combined points... just 14 more to break the single game point total (113, Washington-NYG in '66)
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 51-48. Bengals and we still got like 6 to go. 99 combined points... just 14 more to break the single game point total (113, Washington-NYG in '66) IF that happens, I dont want to see it because I want to be watching the Ravens game. Damn CBS if they stay with this game past 4:15.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 HA! The Referee provides more Defense for the Bengals than the Bengals players have had all day so far... and that fires up the Bengals cause they get the Sack to force a punt.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 Ref gets drilled. I love those. They don't happen enough
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 FINALLY! Defense! Big ass sack.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 Refs just screwed over Cleveland by getting in Bryant's way on a pass play.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 Refs just screwed over Cleveland by getting in Bryant's way on a pass play. The Refs are in play though and it happens, but its a tough break
Kahran Ramsus Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 I've moved to the more competitive KC/Chargers game. 31-31 with 6 minutes to go.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 I hate it when that happens though. There's no excuse for a ref to get in the middle of a pass play like that.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 So now the clock will roll with the Bengals running to run down the clock..yay.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 Hopefully, this drive will be the end of the game if they can just run it out and get into the end zone for the nail in the coffin.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 And now the Cleveland defense shows up. 56 minutes into the game..
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 I hate it when that happens though. There's no excuse for a ref to get in the middle of a pass play like that. excuse? Doing his job is what he was doing. Holcomb threw it at him.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 Kenard Lang is probably the best defensive lineman they've had since coming back.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 I hate it when that happens though. There's no excuse for a ref to get in the middle of a pass play like that. excuse? Doing his job is what he was doing. Holcomb threw it at him. There isn't any reason to get in the middle of a play. I say it everytime it happens.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 This game is going OT. I just know it. Cleveland ties it with a FG with 0:04 to go.
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 And the game is Minnesota's. Vikings win. That makes tommorrow's game against St. Louis a must win. Goddamn Minnesota.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 Both teams have suddenly learned how to play defense.
Slayer Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 And now I have to root for the Rams Damn I feel dirty
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 I hate it when that happens though. There's no excuse for a ref to get in the middle of a pass play like that. excuse? Doing his job is what he was doing. Holcomb threw it at him. There isn't any reason to get in the middle of a play. I say it everytime it happens. He didn't "get in" the play. He was in the position he was assigned. Holcomb just drilled it his way. By moving out of the way, he risks injuring himself or a player. He did what he's supposed to do.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 Why did it take this long for Lewis to go "Hey wait? DEFENSE! thats the part i forgot to put in the gameplan!. hey you guys. STOP THE GUYS with the ball! ok? good"
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 Cleveland guns a first down in FG terrortory with 1:50 to go. that's a ALOT of time for these two.
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 Oh, and the Panthers have won 3 straight to go to 4-7. Anyone think these guys can make the fuckin playoffs?! Sun 12/5 at New Orleans 1:00 pm Sun 12/12 St. Louis 4:15 pm Sat 12/18 at Atlanta 8:30 pm Sun 12/26 at Tampa Bay 1:00 pm Sun 1/2 New Orleans 1:00 pm That's the rest of their schedule. Wouldn't that be something for them to make it back to at least 8-8 or 9-7 and as a wildcard?
