Guest DeathBecomesYou Report post Posted November 27, 2004 I'm just wondering, i've been watching a lot of IWA MS as of late, why don't more people pimp Matt Sydal? He's never in a bad match and on quite a few occasions steals the show, he's got a great Ricky Morton-esque sort of babyface charisma about him, in just every way he looks like a star. Yet, Sydal seems to be one of the more ignored guys on the indy scene right now. Anyone else think Sydal is underrated? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

He's a really great worker with TONS of potential and I feel he's getting the right kind of praise for a guy his level. Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted November 27, 2004 I don't have much of a opinion of him; as I have only seem a small handful of him from ROH (it's the only Indy i follow) but He has charisma and has a good feel for the ring. Sydal for his expierence is good, but he is still very green, and flippy. He needs to tone it down, all his matches with AJ prove this. They start off nicely, but by the end Sydal is doing all this crazy shit. It's an overkill, he needs to work on the way that times his moves. I don't think he will ever be on the level of Danielson.
