For some it is choosing and decorating the perfect Christmas tree; for others it is cooking the perfect Christmas feast; for still others it is celebrating the seasons by singing joyous Christmas carols; and then there are those who celebrate the season by inviting masked Mexican wrestlers into their homes to tear down the house... Well that last tradition is not one celebrated by many, but it is a tradition of the International Wrestling Syndicate, at least if you can call it a tradition when it starts this year... The International Wrestling Syndicate is pleased to welcome Mike Quackenbush and the roster of Chikara who will journey from the United States to make their Canadian debut during IWS Season’s Beatings, Saturday, December 18th. Chikara wrestling is a U.S. based wrestling fed which follows the traditions and rules of Mexican lucha libre wrestling. This is a unique opportunity to see a traditional Lucha Libre six man tag team match presented here in Canada. We encourage all fans of wrestling to come to Season’s Beating’s to witness a match rarely if ever seen this far north. The “technico” or good guy team during this six man tag will feature as captain "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush - The Master of a Thousand Holds! His partners will be Jigsaw - A Wrestling Riddle Wrapped in an Enigma! and Shane Storm - Unionized Traffic Regulator! The “rudo” or evil team will feature UltraMantis Black - Angry Insect Evildoer! and Hallowicked - Dark Minion of the Underworld! Their third partner and the Captain of this team have not as yet been determined.
