Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2004 And Auburn scored already. However I think they'd have to pitch a 50-point shut out to swing enough voters to put them in the Orange bowl.....BUT they may just do that with the way they are playing.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2004 Auburn is up 14-0 now.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2004 Jesus, put Fulmer in there to play quarterback. He'll be better than Rick Clausen. Better still, sneak brother Casey in for the rest of the season. 'course, that first down bomb that got bobbled really stomped us in the nuts.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2004 We're just letting ourselves get pushed around. Our style is too methodical to really combat such an aggressive attack on both sides of the ball. Oh, and our free safety's out! Great!
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2004 Go UCLA! I loves me some upsets. What happens if all three of the undefeateds lose? Ooh boy, can't wait to see it if they do.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 Whoops...muffed punt and UT's in business at the Auburn 14.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 HAH! Auburn's rarely-used punting squad may end up being their downfall. Kinda like Indianapolis's punter in the playoffs last year.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 FUCK YEAH I'll try not to turn this into a Dama-style thread, but dammit, WE'RE ALIVE!
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 Ugh. SOMEONE COVER CAMPBELL
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 UN-FUCKING-CATCHABLE BALL WHAT THE FUCK EVER EDIT: Okay, holding instead. I can live with that. Just so long as it isn't on the 1.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 It's cool. We were down 20-7 against Auburn in the SEC Championship back in 1997. ... of course, we had Peyton Manning then and not Rick Clausen...
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 So yeah, we really, really need to convert this third down.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 Please stop throwing in Carlos Williams's direction. And another throw that's off-target.
Bored 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 USC will win although with quite the under whelming performance. Might cost them a few first place votes, depending on how the other games go, but they've wrapped up the Orange Bowl bid. Okay maybe it's not over. UCLA just won't die. Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 Well, the Toadies at ABC were saying it was a potential trap game for USC but expected to see a blowout. Didn't once touch on how the two teams are cross-town rivals and whatnot, and how the Bruins were a pretty decent squad. I admittedly had no idea UCLA was bowl-eligible. therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 USC up 29-17 now, so I don't think they'll be upset. And USC also gains points in my book due to Virginia Tech winning the ACC title today for their win in August.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 Hey Dama, your boy The Boz was just on ABC at the USC/UCLA game. 29-24 USC now, UCLA is going for the onsides kick.
Bored 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 Reggie Bush: 203 yards rushing, 334 yards all purpose. Uh oh...UCLA recovers a fumble. They have one time out, 54 seconds to go, back deep in their own territory. Nevermind, interception USC. Probably should just kneel down.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 HOLY FUCK! FUMBLE, UCLA BALL WITH A MINUTE TO GO
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 Neeeeeeeeeevermind, interception for USC. Game over. Is it just me, or is a USC/Oklahoma matchup really boring?
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 USC's going to Miami. Is it just me, or is a USC/Oklahoma matchup really boring? Last year, no. This year...hell yes.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 That's the #1 team in the country!? If that ball hadn't been intercepted that dude might've been gone and we would've had an upset. Amazing. And Leinart sure didn't improve his Heisman chances AT ALL!
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 And Leinart sure didn't improve his Heisman chances AT ALL! But, of course, all the voters have already sent in their ballots, right?
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 Reggie Bush sure as hell did though.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 And Leinart sure didn't improve his Heisman chances AT ALL! But, of course, all the voters have already sent in their ballots, right? Only 10% of the ballots are in. We all know that voters remember the last thing they see. So if White romps on Colorado tonight they'll remember that over Leinart's mediocre performance. CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 Reggie Bush sure as hell did though. Agreed. Bush made one hell of a statement.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 Now White and Peterson have final say......god damn they'd better speak loud!
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 USC's going to Miami. Is it just me, or is a USC/Oklahoma matchup really boring? Last year, no. This year...hell yes. Agreed. I'd much rather see USC/Auburn or Oklahoma/Auburn. ... if Auburn keeps their lead in this game, that is. Our poor defense is holding on by its fingernails, trying to keep the game from turning into a complete rout because our offense can't do shit. Go Colorado.
