But yeah, Livin' La Vida Loca is the shit song of the summer of 1999 along with "Mambo No. 9" by Lou Bega, "Allstar" by Smashmouth, "Summer Girls" by LFO, "Smooth" by Rob Thomas and Carlos Santana, and "Wild Wild West" by Will Smith. I always thought Aerosmith's "I don't wanna miss a thing" was the song of summer 1998.
