Bored 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2005 It's all over! Vern Gagne's Minnesota Golden Gophers come from behind and pull off the upset to win the MILF.com Bored Bowl and become the Bored's College Football Pick 'Em Contest Champions. Many questioned Vern's high ranking early in the season but he ends the year on a seven game win streak and the title. Tough break for Edwin MacPhisto who was so dominant in the regular season. Congratulations to Vern and I will PM you later about your prize.
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2005 Vern, you sonofabitch. Congrats. I'll lord my regular season record over the rest of you chumps for a while to get over this soul-crushing loss. This was fun all year. Huzzah.

phoenixrising 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2005 Will there be a final poll? Just wondering, since that was the way the preseason top 10 for this years contest was determined.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2005 Are you kidding? The only person who did better than me in the bowl contest is the person I was playing? Figures...
Bored 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2005 Will there be a final poll? Just wondering, since that was the way the preseason top 10 for this years contest was determined. Since there isn't a BCS poll after the BCS bowls in real life I've decided not to do one. What I think I'm going to do is do a Top 10 using the new formula and that will serve as the preseason Top 10 for next year. I might post that tonight. iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2005 With the idea of the bowl champions from last year renaming the bowls for next year, I decided to find this thread to remember what they used to be. It was a little bit difficult to find, so I figured that I'd bump it in case other people wanted to look at it as well. Also, that preseason Top 10 would be nice to see soon, since it was originally supposed to be done back in January.
