Wwe: a negative look at our world of

'It's supposed to be entertaining!'

'Just shut up and enjoy it or don't watch it at all'.

-Some WWF (E) apologist on a message board that doesn't like to listen to criticism.

Vince McMahon's version of Pro-wrestling is like a bastard offspring of every cliche in the entertainment world. It features the worst of acting, the worst of comedy, the worst of story-telling and not much of what the "sport" once was.

'It's supposed to be entertaining!'

That's 100% correct. It's *supposed* to be just that, entertainment. The fatal flaw is that it nearly poses as such. It ulimately fails to entertain any more.

I for one, am a viewer that is tunning out, possibly for good.

Am I the only one who found the RVD & Jeff Hardy vs Eddy & Booker T entertaining?  The ending spot was entertaining but it was no Kamikaze.

Am I the only one who found the Main Event to be entertaining?  I thought that Big Show put on a good match against Austin.  Even though Flair's turn did not make any sense at all, its good to see him as a heel.  Was Flair trying to set up Austin to distrust Bradshaw with the APA hat and Kane mask?  The sloppy angles and storylines were weak but I found 2 matches that were entertaining to me.

WTF why did Nash show up late to Raw in a limo, with no payoff, was he suppose to do a run in or what?

a tweener response

Actually I liked them also, and Phil Schneider gave the show (and the main event) a pretty good review at deathvalleydriver.com.

I thought the Eddy/Booker vs Jeff/RVD match was okay. The main event, I was just begging for it to end. I knew the turn was coming, but it seemed to drag on forever when it was just Show & Austin in the ring.

The whole 'thing' with Nash was just stupid... because it wasn't a thing.. it was nothing! What was the point? I don't even know why they'd waste time with that. They even picked the most awkward time to do it too -- right in the middle of the ring entrances. WTF?

I was wondering what happened to Flair, Xpac, Hall, Bradshaw when Show & Austin were in the ring slugging it out.  It looked like it was a singles match for those few minutes, would it hurt to have the camera pan to outside to see whats going on with the missing wrestlers?

The match had decent workrate but left several holes in the nWo vs Austin angle.  Why did Flair attack Austin, why did Nash show up, Austin vs Big Show PPV match?

Nash actually did serve a purpose last night.(albeit a stupid one) He was supposed to be one of the things that threw people off of what the surprise was at the end of the night. Think of Nash as a 7'0 overpriced Kane mask or APA hat. That whole thing was just dumb. My question about what was non sensical is not what was Nash's purpose, but what was Flair's intentions? Is he nWo? Did he turn just to get back at Austin and is just using the nWo to get him back? I guess we'll find out next monday. Same lame ass time, same lame ass channel.

So angry!

I just wish the people who say it wouldn't all have "watched for 10(or more)years" and then say it in a way that is meant to scare the wwe.  I mean, they've got 10 years (or more) of your money! ;-)
