What concerts are you going to this summer?

So far I got Warped Tour tickets, and next month I'm seeing Glassjaw with Shai Hulud and J-Majesty.  DFP looks pretty bad this year.  I might get Ozzfest tickets just to see SOAD and Lost Prophets.  I'm sure there'll be more good ones this summer though.

July 20 I'll be at Locobazooka at our local fairgrounds. 16 bands, only $20. Filter, sevendust, Gravity Kills, Mushroomhead, Nonpoint,Fu Manchu, and others.

I was thinking of going to check out Tommy Lee at a local club cause I heard his live band kicks ass but tickets are $27. We'' see about that one.

Rush in July for sure. Hopefully I'll see them in Milwaukee and Chicago back to back. Always a kick ass show.

Was supposed to go see Morbid Angel and Motorhead tonight in DeKalb ,IL (NIU) but the car is in the shop and I couldn't ask my buddy down there to make two round trips. Maybe next time.

If Extreme Steel Tour part 2 is this summer, that's the only one I'll go to that isn't a local show.

Summer in DC means the free twice weekly Ft. Reno concert series. They haven't announced the schedule yet, but Fugazi and the Dismemberment Plan will surely be highlights. And you can probably count on Q And Not U and Ted Leo/Pharmicists to be big draws again this summer.

Rush for sure.

Hopefully Jethro Tull too

Hmmm... I don't go to a lot of concerts, but the double bill of Scorpions / Deep Purple with Dio opening [!] looks pretty appealing to me so far.  I'd probably be the youngest one there though ;)

I forgot about the free show Memorial weekend. Days of the New w/ Header. Nothing like wings, beer, and a free showw on the waterfront.

Leeds festival. GnR [!] NOFX [!!] strokes, white stripes, weezer, slipknot (it's a pit) offspring (it's a pit) foo fighters, less than jake, Andrew WK [!!!] and a shitload of others. Only went for one day last year but it was still great cos of Frank Black, Rancid and the punk/ska stuff.

My local radio station is going to put on one of those cliched shows.  Blink and Green Day are headlining.  Andrew WK is going to be there, which Im really looking forward to.

My friends and I are also contiplating going to the Rolling Rock Festival.  We went last year and it was a fucking blast.  The line-up this year is also pretty good (Godsmack, Sevendust, POD, Outkast)

I wish I lived in the UK so I could get to see the cool festivals like Leeds or Glastonbury or Reading... at least those have a variety of DIFFERENT artists.  The only festivals around here are Ozzfest (don't like the artists, except for maybe Ozzy) and the Mountain Aire Festival (which has a ton of artists I really want to see but I can't go to... grumble...).
