Now that WWE is totally fucked I'd like to throw some ideas out to them. What would you do if Vince called you for help? Here's what I'd tell him.

Go for Austin vs Brock. That would be interesting and could be a longterm feud. If they want a bigger star to feud with Austin they could always get Goldberg but that would probally be a wrong move.

Have Hulk Hogan lose the title back to Triple H at King of the Ring. After that I'd have The Rock come back in a month and attack Hogan. Then they would fight at Summerslam with Rock being the "cool" heel and Hogan being the babyface.

Have Raven start a flock of hardcore wrestlers. Not a great idea but it still would be something interesting. Maybe Undertaker could take over it after a while too.

Turn Maven heel. Him being a face is just a joke so turning him heel even just for a while wouldn't hurt a thing.

I'd also have the Tag titles defended on both shows. Maybe the I-C title and Cruiser Title should be thought of as well.

I would tell Vince to start giving fans hints that some of these midcard guys can main event. I'm not saying it has to be right now, but they need the rub, or something. People are tuning off in droves because people like Hogan and Taker are in the main and they don't feel that any of the midcard has a chance of getting to the main. Again I'm not saying Hogan has to start laying  down clean for Kidman and Edge right now, but you have to give the fans the illusion that these young guys are gonna actually amount to something or else they stop watching. I also think I understand a little why some of the older guard don't give their spots up. It's a selfish thinking of the buck has to stop with me. It's a mentality that goes "no way wrestling can go on without me". I know a of people who think that the world is going to end because they see the downfall of society and blah blah blah. Especially old people. I think when people think they see signs the world is going to end it's because they can't fathom the world going on without them. Same with wrestling. These old guys or guys on top probrably think the same thing. This company, wwe, can't go on without me. It's just an ingrained selfish mentality. Most, if not all of the top guys think like this. Except Mick Foley. But he is the exception, not the rule.

Foley....what did Vince do to piss him off again?  Because old Mick seemed to be friends with Vince for a while.  Did he just not like the direction of the company?

I would start by dumping a lot of wrestlers.  The big boom for WWF came after Hogan, Savage, Bret, etc... were gone.  So Taker, SHow, Nash, Kane, and Hogan you're fired.  I would also threaten any political guys with the same fate if they don't shut their mouths and do their job.

From there I scrap nWo and go with Flair vs Austin.  Flair brings in Goldberg for a short term program to boost interest hopefully and if Austin refuses to job I'd fire him.  I'd give the cruisers the opening match on every PPV to get the crowd going, and give them 9-12 minutes a week on SD!.  Benoit, Jericho, ANgle, and  would get big pushes.  Raven wold be out in the IC title mix as a heel or a face depending on how the fans react.  I'd merge the HC and Euro title into a TV title and put it on Lance Storm who I think can get over with his "If I could be Serious..." stuff.

RAW

Flair starts "The Network" with X-Pac, Big Show, Nash. They feud with Austin and RVD. After Austin gets the better of them, Flair brings in Goldberg, who destorys Austin. Their first match ends in about 8 minutes with Goldberg winning clean [ala Sting/Vader].No one will suspect that to happen Austin comes back months later. RVD feuds with Goldberg. ustin comes back to feud with Goldberg months later.

SmackDown!

Triple H feuds with Lesnar, who has been traded. Jericho turns face to feud with Angle. Edge is the new "TV" Champ.

At Judgment Day, I would have Triple H and Taker pin Hogan at the same time. That would lead to 2 different champs on 2 different shows. No more crossing over.

Posted this elsewhere---will post it here

1) Get the belt off of Hogan IMMEDIATELY. The most consistently over heel the WWE has is Kurt Angle. Until they decide what they want to do with the World Title (go to HHH or do the smart thing and give it to Austin), let him hold the belt for a few months.

2) Do Austin v Hogan as quickly as possible, since the WWE has a hard-on for that particular match. After that, send Hulk on his merry way. He's one of those guys who gets pops but, obviously, is not a draw of any sort.

3) Since SD has the stronger in-ring roster, keep the non-wrestling segments to an absolute minimum. I'd love to see an hour of wrestling per SD show, but since that won't happen, 40 minutes should be a minimum. Let the good in-ring performers work since that might shadow how bad the writing has been.

4) Change the writing team. Just quickly, go with this.

For RAW: Flair, Raven, and Dreamer.

For Smackdown: Vince (he is THE booker, after all), Faarooq (who I think would work well and probably does know his stuff rather well), and since he really has no role on RAW with Flair as heel, Arn Anderson.

5) Change the announcers: Dump Lawler. Replace him with Heyman (will also free Lesnar from the heat vacuum known as Paul). Dump Tazz, replace him with Sanders (who was crap in the ring in WCW, folks). Dump Cole and replace him with Kevin Kelly.

6) Do NOT sign Scott Steiner, Bill Goldberg, or any other WCW "stars" they might be considering. WCW is dead for a reason.

7) No more undeserving serious champs. Go ahead and give whomever you want the HC Title, but don't give somebody like Spike Dudley the friggin' Euro Title for any length of time. It makes the belt a joke.

8) No McMahons, whatsoever, on TV for at least a year. The characters are stale, to say the least.

                            -=Mike
