mike546 Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Mick Vick is superman. How his knees didn't touch the ground, I have no idea.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 This is like watching a good heavyweight fight.
Guest Vitamin X Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 We're going tooooo OVERTIME. Man, this is one of the best games I've seen this season, no doubt about it.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 I'm a little glad that my girlfriend didn't come over tonight and ruin this game for me.
mike546 Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 What an AWESOME day of football. Pitt/Giants was suprisingly very good, and this game is incredible.
mike546 Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Aww fuck. Panthers have nothing to be ashamed of. Incredible heart, great game, incredible comeback season.
Guest Vitamin X Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 I don't know if I would have hung it up there in OT... Wow, Jake Delhomme really is the next Brett Favre.
JustJoe2k5 Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 I don't know what St. Louis' final three games are but if Carolina can win their remaining two games and St. Louis goes to 8-8, Carolina would be in the playoffs. I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch against Atlanta. I'm a Panthers fan but I have to question alot of the play-calling late in the game last night, they are best at game-winning drives in the final two minutes of play so they should've let Delhomme air it out and hit Colbert a few more times instead of playing for overtime when Atlanta beat them in overtime last year. Still a great game, and Julius Peppers one arm grab of the fumble should definitely be a highlight of the year, but after all of the ups and downs that ending just left me feeling sick to my stomach.
cabbageboy Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 I do believe that the Rams have the Cardinals today, the Eagles next week, and I'm not sure who they finish with. I almost think it'll end up with someone we aren't thinking about making the playoffs, like the Bucs or someone.
LaParkaMarka Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Wow, first play of the game and Dante Hall returns it for a TD, 7-0 KC over Denver.
Kahran Ramsus Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Denver really shot themselves in the foot on that drive. With Baltimore's rough schedule and Denver choking, maybe Buffalo can actually make the playoffs.
KingPK Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 I guess Jerry Rice can still do it. Great one handed catch in the back of the end zone, keeping his feet in. EDIT: Geez, it's "Make a highlight reel catch, win a plush toy" day at the Meadowlands.
GreatWhiteNope Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Denver really shot themselves in the foot on that drive. With Baltimore's rough schedule and Denver choking, maybe Buffalo can actually make the playoffs. If they can beat the Bengals. They're down 7-0 right now.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Bills even it up @ 7
2GOLD Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Even if the Bills make the playoffs, they would be heading to Indy for a date in the dome. If they made it and were going to San Diego, MAYBE I give them a shot to win. A date in the dome? No chance. Blocked punt, touchdown Buffalo. 14-7 Bills now.
Precious Roy Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Man, I'm SO glad I drafted Curtis Martin this year. He's carried me all the way to the playoffs of my FFL league, and with his two early TDs today I'm looking at the championship game : Shit, Seattle just challenged
Kahran Ramsus Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 I'd rather be in the playoffs than out of it, even if it means a Round 1 defeat.
LaParkaMarka Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Another phantom TD against the Seahawks. Holmgren must be ready to explode.
GreatWhiteNope Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Takeo Spikes intercepts and returns it all the way for a TD. 21-7 Bills.
2GOLD Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Vinny to Key, touchdown Cowboys 7-6 Dallas 3:22 2nd
mike546 Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Another phantom TD against the Seahawks. Holmgren must be ready to explode. How the hell was that not reversed? Martin wasn't even CLOSE to the goal line.
LaParkaMarka Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 It was close, but please. He didn't break the plane. Very unfortunate for Seattle.
Kahran Ramsus Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 The Broncos are trying their damnedest to get Shanny fired.
Brett Favre Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 We could use some calls, after the travesty in Pittsburgh.
2GOLD Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 T.O just limped to the locker room with a possible knee injury. Could be bad news for the Eagles.
Kahran Ramsus Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Was TO on the cover of SI lately?
2GOLD Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Was TO on the cover of SI lately? I think he was actually. No, he wasn't...my bad.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Peyton Manning was on the cover of this week's issue so look for bad things to happen and him not to break the TD record.
Guest Vitamin X Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 TO hurt? My preseason dream is coming true.
