Remove Muta, insert Jumbo Tsuruta.  Muta's name shouldn't even be mentioned alongside the others.

I know i'm gonna catch a tongue lashing for this, but two i'd stick on there would be Taue and Gedo. I don't care how good Taue supposedly used to be or how good Gedo supposedly is now, Taue hasn't had a singles match that was worth my time not involving Misawa. i think everyone can understand my distaste for Gedo however. lets see...Ricky Fuji, Tiger Jeet Singh, and this old timer i saw in an AJPW six man old guy tag that had "service" written on his tights, i have no idea what his name is, but he could barely walk in that match. that rounds out my top 5.

No, Gedo is, and has been since at least 1994, a good wrestler. He's not stunning but I really don't understand why people hate him much. He can sell decently, he can tell a good story and he is fairly good on the matwork side of things. Alright, his 'big' offensive moves are lacking in style a little, but that's really the only big downside to the guy.

Scott Norton, Giant Silva, Giant Singh, all of Family Gundan (Rusher Kimura, etc., but they kind of have an excuse, since they're near-pensioners), The Cedman, Abdullah The Butcher, Gerard Gordeau, The Predator and Daikokubo Benkei are some of the worst workers in Japan right now. Japanese leagues need to learn how to hire gaijin with upside, although NOAH doesn't have a bad collection of them. Akira Taue and Gedo are not even close to bottom 10 in Japan. While he's far past his prime, Taue still belongs more in a "top" list than "bottom" list. He's better than Muto right now. Muto is better when he brings his "A" game, which is like never anymore, but Kawada vs. Taue in February had Taue stayed in AJ (like he should have) would have been better than Kawada vs. Muto. Gedo is limited on offense (he actually works better as a babyface, as he showed in FMW just before he left), but he's better than a billion indy wrestlers and has had many good matches where he and his supposedly "crappy" friend Jado have carried guys not adapted to pro style (Naruse) and those who are/were still green and inexperienced (Shibata, Inoue).

From the two matches I've seen, I'd say Yasuda is pretty much crap.  Ugly too.

"Taue hasn't had a singles match that was worth my time not involving Misawa."

Kobashi vs. Taue 3/26/95 (probably his first "great" singles match), Kawada vs. Taue 4/8/95 (even better than the previous), Kobashi vs. Taue 7/24/95 (very good 30 min. draw).

He may suck now, but he's had some real good matches against people other than Misawa (granted it's only Kobashi and Kawada).

There are infinitely worse wrestlers than Benkei- who is perfectly mediocre.  You gotta think Nakamaki, Sambo Asako, Tarzan Goto, OSAMU~! Tachihikari, Goro Tsurumi and the ilk.  Plus you got all those Blue Mummies, the Pervert, Sad Genius, Giant Watermelon Head and whever else is wrestling undercards in Eagle and ZIPANG.

And Taue RULES.  As does Gedo.

Yasuda can be carried very easily when he's game.

Sweet Jesus! The Dean is back, I haven't seen you in these parts since the EZBoard days.

I also don't actively hate Gedo but Jedo? Who could ever love Jedo?

Jado is an underrated wrestler. He's ordinary and quite bland, but he's very smart and knows how to carry. Watch the Jado/Gedo vs. Tanaka/Naruse match from February, where Jado carries Naruse better than anyone else in New Japan has as of yet. Jado and Gedo work great together as a heel team. The only problem is they lack offense, so when they have extended control, it can drag a bit. When they have Black Tiger, Kanemoto and AKIRA in there with them though, that issue can be solved, since those three have some great offensive moves.

I switched to Linux and everything was baffling, including logging on to the new message board. I... I... I blame myself...

And three years ago Jado was better than Gedo.  GO FIGURE!

You FEAR my avatar!

Actually, I'd say that Pogo was rarely even the worst in his own promotions.  I mean, there's always Matsunaga...

I dunno, trying to convince someone that Matsunaga or Pogo are actually wrestlers is dificult enough. Seriously, they don't have anything on Tiger Jeet Singh.

Oh god, thats just reminded me about some tag match which is advertised as part of the CC 95, they dont show any of it, thank god...

Giant Baba & Abdullah The Butcher vs. Andre The Giant & Stan Hansen

I mean, jesus, how poor and slow must that match be?! Sorry, I know this is off topic but I had to mention it.

Matsunaga is quite passable in straight wrestling match (which I haven't seen him since FMW 95 vs Hayabusa.)  Mr Pogo was good as a tag wrestler in the 80s- so he can use decrepitude as an excuse.

Without a doubt, of every wrestler I have ever seen, Tiger Jeet Singh is the most worthless piece of shit to have ever stepped into the ring. Hey Pogo can at least throw a fireball, right? But there is not one redeeming quality about Singh. Not a one.
