Guest DeputyHawk Report post Posted December 19, 2004 From the FIP boards. Anyone attend? Hopefully attendance was somewhat better than last time, Homicide vs. Spanky is all good in my book. Full Impact Pro returned to action with its unique and intimate studio setting on 12/17 in Lakeland, FL at Latino's for the Florida Rumble. The show started with the Florida Rumble, which saw two wrestlers start and one enter the ring every minute. The only way to be eliminated was to be thrown over the top rope. The winner received a FIP Heavyweight Title shot vs. Champion Homicide in the main event. The rest of the matches were determined by order of elimination. -Spanky won the first ever Florida Rumble. The action packed Rumble had too many highlights to list. As a result of the Rumble, the following matches took place: -Antonio Banks defeated Erick Stevens. -Mike Shane defeated Kahagas -Vordell Walker defeated Azrieal -Fast Eddie Vegas of DP Associates defeated Sal Rinauro when DP Associate cohort Jimmy Rave interfered. This was Sal's breakout match despite suffering the loss. -Scoot Andrews & LeDuke Jakes defeated The Heartbreak Express, who never entered the Florida Rumble. The Heartbreak Express said that they would take on the first two eliminated resulting in this tag match. -Jimmy Rave defeated Steve Madison with help from Vegas in another quality match. After the match, Rinauro tried to tell the referee that Vegas interfered. Rave & Vegas jumped Rinauro until Jerrelle Clark made the save. -Roderick Strong defeated Jerrelle Clark in a high impact match. -James Gibson, formerly known as Jamie Knoble in WWE, defeated CM Punk with a roll up in the first ever match between the two. -Homicide retained the FIP Heavyweight Title by making Spanky submit in a classic. Guest DeputyHawk Report post Posted April 9, 2005 FIP 3/25 'With Malice' results off the FIP boards. Why wasn't Homicide at the shows? - oh wait, JAPW! And Maff.. Full Impact Pro presented “With Malice” from the Latino’s Nightclub in Lakeland, Florida. Due to travel issues Petey Williams was not able to attend. Lenny Leonard brought out the man who claims to be the FIP World champion CM Punk. Punk stole the belt from the champion Homicide at an ROH event. Punk claimed he didn’t steal the title, he was a humanitarian. He talked down to the Lakeland crowd. Punk said possession was 9/10th of the law and Homicide wasn’t man enough nor was he man enough to hold the FIP championship. Punk said he was the new champion and he would defend the belt against anyone in the locker room, James Gibson answered the challenge. Punk said he meant he wanted someone who he hasn’t faced and then sucker punched Gibson before running to the locker room. (1) Erick Stevens and Evan Starsmore defeated the Heartbreak Express (Sean and Phil Davis). The Express claimed their “undefeated” streak would remain intact with another victory tonight. Phil Davis and Erick Steven began the match with some chain wrestling until Stevens hit a modified belly to belly suplex. Starsmore and Sean Davis got tagged in the match and Davis took Starsmore to the mat. The Express made several tags taking their time wearing down Starsmore while Stevens could only stand on the apron growing frustrated. The Express had several chances to pin Starsmore but one attempt backfired. Starsmore was trying to sunset flip Sean Davis, Phil Davis came in but referee Billy Dalton told him to leave the ring, Stevens came in and hit a lariat. This allowed Starsmore to pin Davis. After the bell the Express looked in the crowd and chose So Cal Val to party with them. The party was cut short by Don Juan who said Val was his lady. Don Juan offered to school the Express in how to win the ladies. (2) “Tornado” Tony Kozina defeated Don Juan (w/So Cal Val) Don Juan seemed to have Val on his mind because in the opening minutes Kozina schooled Juan. Juan got control after Val got in the way of an attempted springboard to the floor by Kozina. Back in the ring Juan finally got down to wrestling and took over on Kozina for several minutes. Kozina got a second wind and fired back with several offensive moves but was hit by a pump handle slam into a backbreaker. Juan hit a suplex but his second attempt was blocked and Kozina floated over into what looked like a slop drop to pin Juan. (3) NWA Florida Tag Team champions Double Deuce (Marcus Dillon and “Uptown” Frankie Capone) defeated 911 Inc’s Rod Steel and NWA Florida Heavyweight champion Bruce Steele. Double Deuce were in control early on beating down Steel. Dillon was distracted by Steele on the ring apron and was hit from behind by Rod Steel. Dillon was able to get out of the corner and tag in Capone, but Capone walked right into an offensive flurry. Steel and Steele took turns attacking Capone left arm and wrist. Steel got cocky and went to the top, but Capone cut him off and brought him back into the ring with a superplex before tagging out to Dillon who fought with both members of 911 Inc but Capone came back in the match and walked into Steele’s tribute to Jeff Jarrett, the Stroke. Steele went for the Big Dump but Capone countered out and hit the K5 followed by Dillon’s spear. ROH World champion Austin Aries came to the ring and told the fans that he wasn’t going to defend tonight and he would save it for tomorrow night in Sebring. This announcement brought out Dave Prazak who said he had someone who deserved a shot, Insane Dragon. After some deliberation Aries said he would defend title but needed some time to get changed out of his street clothes. Didn’t take long as Prazak and Dragon made it to the curtain, Aries came dressed to wrestle. (4) ROH World champion Austin Aries defeated Insane Dragon (w/Dave Prazak) Aries oozed of confidence taking the offense to Dragon for several minutes despite the encouraging words from Prazak. In fact Prazak’s interference allowed Dragon to take over on the champion. The two men fought on the floor and when the action returned to the ring Dragon attacked Aries left arm and shoulder area for several minutes. Dragon took Aries to the mat with a headlock but Aries countered into what looked like an STF. Dragon made it out of the hold and put Aries into a modified surfboard. When Aries wouldn’t submit Dragon went back to the arm but it backfired as Aries countered out of a move and took over on Dragon. Aries teased hitting a 450 splash and instead dropped an elbow. Aries went for a suplex but Dragon countered out into an armbar submission. Aries refused to submit so Prazak got involved on the attack of the arm but that too backfired when he grabbed Dragon and Aries hit him with a baseball slide. Aries hit a corkscrew 450 splash and a springboard moonsault to pin Dragon. (5) “American Dragon” Brian Danielson defeated Roderick Strong before the match Strong took the house mic and said tonight’s match was a dream match and he hoped Danielson brought his “A” game. Danielson came out and told Strong this dream match would become his worst nightmare. Danielson and Strong had a small feeling out process in which Danielson had control with several submission moves. Each time Strong made it to the ropes, Danielson slapped Strong on the back. Strong finally had enough and chest chopped Danielson so hard it made Danielson retreat to the floor to regroup. When Danielson returned to the ring he went back to the submission moves but a chest chopping contest broke out and Danielson again retreated to the floor. This time Danielson returned and attacked Strong’s left arm and wrist for what must have seemed like an eternity to Strong. Danielson put Strong in the Boston crab and placed his foot on Strong’s injured arm. Next Strong was hit with Dragon kicks but he fired back with chest chops and a dropkick which resulted in a two count. Strong took Danielson to the mat and stretched out the back which Danielson countered out of and got Strong in a straight jacket with both knees into Strong’s back. Danielson went for the Cattle Mutilation but Strong made it to the ropes so Danielson hit an enziguiri but got two. Strong fired back with some offense but Danielson went for Cattle Mutilation and Strong countered out with an STO into a backbreaker. Strong went on the attack but walked into what was counted out as a 42 rotation airplane spin which resulted in Strong lying in the ring and Danielson falling out to the floor. Danielson came back to the ring and went for another airplane spin but Strong countered into a back suplex. The offense got hot and heavy but Danielson got the last move in by hitting a back suplex. After the match ended CM Punk ran out and attacked Danielson apparently to soften him up for their 2 of 3 falls match tomorrow night. The attack was broken up by James Gibson. Lenny Leonard brought out the ringside area “the Shooter” Vordell Walker. Walker spoke on his recent travels to ROH and other promotions. He was interrupted by Jared Steel who claimed he was the hottest prospect in wrestling not Walker. They were interrupted by Masada who claimed he was the best, so Walker challenged both of them to a three way dance. (6)Jared Steel defeated “the Shooter” Vordell Walker and Masada Masada sat on a turnbuckle as Walker and Steel exchanged offensive moves. After Walker hit Steel with an enziguiri Masada got involved taking over on Walker. Steel took the time to recover as his two opponents fought to the floor. Steel went for a tope and only hit Masada as Walker got in the ring and hit both men with a tope of his own. As Walker recovered on the floor, Steel brought Masada back in the ring and put him in several submission moves. Walker returned to the ring and hit Masada with a German suplex but fired back with an enziguiri. Masada was on the floor and came back in hitting a double sunset flip but got two on each pinning attempt. Masada went to superplex Walker but Steel stopped Masada from coming off and fell back to the mat with Masada on his shoulders. Walker hit Masada with a frog splash but got two. Steel got the last move in the match hitting Walker with an STO into what looked like a DDT and pinned Walker to the dismay of his fans in attendance. (7) DP Associates members Jimmy Rave and Fast Eddie (w/Dave Prazak) defeated Steve Madison and Sal Rinauro Prazak called Rave and Eddie the uncrowned FIP Tag Team champions and said they took care of Rinauro’s scheduled partner Jerrelle Clark and told Rinauro to bring any partner he wished. Rinauro came out and told DP Associates he had a partner, “the Axe Bomber” Steve Madison. Madison began against Rave and the two mat wrestled until Rinauro tagged in and hit Rave with a dropkick before slapping on a chinlock. Rave survived and tagged in Eddie who was taken to the mat by Rinauro. Madison and Rinauro made several tags and continued the mat attack. Eddie reversed a corner Irish whip and sent Rinauro in hard. This allowed Rave to tag in but Rinauro fought back with armdrags. Rinauro followed Rave to the floor but his tope ended up as a Rave delivered gutbuster. Back in the ring Rave and Eddie made frequent tags trying to wear down Rinauro with help from Prazak at the opportune time. Eddie had a superplex in mind but Rinauro pushed him to the mat and hit an elbow. Madison finally tagged in and took on both members of DP Associates but couldn’t get a submission with the Sharp Shooter. Rinauro got back in the match while Madison chased Prazak around ringside. Madison lost track of where Fast Eddie was and he paid for it as Eddie hit him with a drop toe hold to the floor. As Madison laid injured on the floor, Rave went to hit Rinauro with the Rave Clash but Eddie came in and they hit the double penetration (double team pedigree) to win the match. (8) The New Dawn’s CM Punk (w/Naphtali who came to the ring in a wheelchair) defeated James Gibson. Punk came out with the FIP World title belt but there was no announcement made that he was the reigning champion. Something happened to Punk since I saw him last as he was no longer wearing his trademark XXX basketball pants. Gibson took an open opportunity and grabbed the title belt and this made Punk irrate. Punk took the mic and called the crowd “slack jawed hillbillies” and said he wasn’t going to wrestle the match and would take a countout loss but as he approached the locker room Brian Danielson grabbed him and tossed him into the ring. Gibson was waiting and attacked Punk’s left knee for several minutes. The duo took the fight to the floor and surrounding bar area sending people running from their drinks. The action returned to the ring and Punk was in trouble until he hit Gibson with a Hot Shot. Punk took the fight to Gibson but couldn’t pin the former WWE Cruiserweight champion. Punk took full advantage of Naphtali being ringside as he distracted referee Jim Bragg it allowed the wheel chair bound man to stand and hit Gibson with sucker punches. Punk hit Gibson with several suplexes but his frustration grew as Gibson would not be pinned nor submit to a bow and arrow submission hold. Gibson reversed a bodyslam and hit a spinning neckbreaker. Gibson fired in several right hand punches to Punk and hit a second rope legdrop but got two. Both men went for fast pins but got two. Punk hit Gibson with a belly to belly suplex. Punk seemed to lose his cool and Gibson slapped on a Dragon Sleeper but Punk countered out only to walk into another Dragon Sleeper. Punk would have the last laugh as Gibson was pinned as Punk held the ropes for leverage. After the bell, Brian Danielson ran out and helped Gibson double team Punk. Punk suffered no further damage and escaped to the locker room. -------------------- Alan J. Wojcik http://alanwojcik.com
Guest DeputyHawk Report post Posted April 9, 2005 3/26 Bring The Pain results from the FIP Office. Homicide - Punk - Dragon three way in April? Get in! Dave Prazak's new monster Ryze defeated The Masked Fipper. Prazak said his normal charge LaDuke Jakes was currently on spring break at Monster Island. Roderick Strong defeated Insane Dragon in a bout set up to ROH World Champion Austin Aries. As a result, Strong would get a ROH Title match later in the night. Erick Stevens defeated Don Juan. Don Juan then proved he is a ladies man by picking up an attractive woman in the crowd. The Heartbreak Express came out and said they were going to pick up some women too but all the other women of Sebring were too ugly. This led to Sebring's own Kahagas and Aaron Epic taking on and defeating The Heartbreak Express. Steve Madison came out and said that people better start noticing him in FIP. Tony Kozina came out and said he was going to make an impact in FIP. This led to a quality match that Madison won. Jared Steele defeated Evan Starsmore. Vordell Walker defeated Masada. Walker challenged Masada to the match since he was angry that Masada gave him a low blow the previous night causing him to be pinned by Jared Steele in Lakeland. ROH World Champion Austin Aries retained the belt by defeating Roderick Strong in a great, hard-hitting match. Bryan Danielson defeated CM Punk in just over 41 minutes by taking two falls to Punk's one. This must see match will be dubbed "FIP's Epic Encounter."
