A Triple H heel turn?  Or just a burst of rage?  Eh... guess we'll have to wait and see.

I expect Jericho to beat HHH at Judgement.. getting payment from his job at WMX8.  But, the WWF... eh.. E is so unpredictable.  Well, not really... but still.

And.. YES!  Lance Storm!  On Smackdown!  :D

HHH does the job for DVON?

hmmm....

HIAC?

I bet HHH throws Jericho off the top...killing him so that he can't bad mouth him anymore.

I feel like the old barber in Coming To America that was ranting about Ali. "His momma named him Clay, I'm gonna call him Clay!" I'm calling the WWF the WWF. It seems as though the WWF knows the Hogan/Taker program is going to suck, so they are adding a HIAC match to boost the card. They should have made that match a while ago and really promoted that instead of the Hogan/Taker crap. They have a haircut match, a HIAC match, Flair/Austin and RVD/Guerrero. I think it's a shame they waited until the last minute to write RAW. That stuff doesn't work with homework and I'm sure it doesn't work with what used to be the highest rated show on Monday nights. If they didn't have a great way to turn Flair, they should have left things alone. Panicking is never good. Fear is a good motivator, but nothing good comes out of panicking.

Jericho/HHH in a HIAC could be good.  Who knows...HHH could do one of those MOTY thingies he used to do...

Also, Hogan/UT may be good....FOR ME TO POOP ON!

Jericho getting a receipt for the WM job? Are you kidding? I believe Triple H owes Jericho about a couple dozen receipts at this point. The official tally probably lies somewhere around 35-1 for Triple H. (Not counting house shows of course.)

Triple H is going over for sure. They are not even building it up as a Triple H/Jericho feud. It's more of the same old shit. Vince McMahon feels the need to make himself lead heel yet again. And again, at the expense of the guys who would be the present and future of his company if he ever got around to pushing them as stars.

Triple H and Jericho are wrestling at JD, but they are not feuding. Triple H is feuding with Vince. The only difference between this feud and the WrestleMania feud is that Jericho will probably be behind Vince and Stacy on the totem pole as opposed to being behind just Stephanie. Maybe he can carry Stacy's bags around for her and go get her coffee while Triple H gets in Vince's face and Stacy looks on in fear.

If this feud was really about Triple H/Jericho, then JERICHO would be the one complaining about Triple H screwing his shot at the title last week, not Vince. Jericho would be the one who gets Triple H so pissed off that he wants beat the crap out of him, not Vince. Jericho would be the one asking for a Hell in the Cell match, not Vince.

But instead we have Jericho playing the pawn yet again so another McMahon can steal the spotlight. Because the WWF really needs to make more 50 year old men the focus of their tv shows.

If the WWF wants to have a swerve, then have Jericho and Triple H do the double turn at the PPV. Put Triple H and Vince together because Triple H has the pull not to be completely overshadowed by Vince and then Jericho can go back to playing the fiery underdog role. Only this time with more of a Rockesque cockiness to him. And Triple H at least has the chance to become an entertaining character once again as a heel.

Ugh...so, while HHH/Jericho should be a goodie, they're actually sticking with Hogan/Taker as the main?  Yiiick.

I'll actually be watching this Smackdown, mostly to see D-Von get some in-ring action with his new gimmick, see Storm finally wrestle longer than 68 seconds, and see if D-Von's new bodyguard is at all impressive.

Sure, the matches are only 4 and 5 minutes long, but it's at least enough time for these undercard guys to build something better than a 2-minute squash.

Huh?

Let's see:

Jericho beat HHH on Raw to win the WWF World Title, BUT the title didn't change hands.

HHH beat Jericho in a Last Man Standing Match (forgot which PPV).

HHH beat Jericho at WMX8.

Jericho beat HHH on 2 SD!s ago.

That's what?  About 2-2?  I'm not counting mini-feuds or matches with no purpose.  And if you were counting house shows, then yes the tally would be huge because at the time Jericho was the Undisputed Champ and he wasn't going to lose at a house show, so HHH probably won them by DQ or something.

It's just a repeat of Triple H jobbing to the Brooklyn Brawler or the Godfather. He'll do the job to some low-card comedy character that no one takes seriously. And then he gets his revenge immediately on the guy who cost him the match and then he'll win the feud like he always does.

There's also the 6 man tag match that happened the same night as the false title change where Triple H pinned Jericho clean in the middle.

Then there was another Jericho/Triple H match a couple months later when Jericho was a mystery opponent on RAW that also ended in a pedigree.

I remember Angle and Triple H both pinned Jericho to set up a triple threat match at one PPV. But that would probably fall under your unimportant match criterion.

There was Triple H pinning Jericho with the pedigree to win the IC title after WM 2001.

Of course I was exaggerating with the tally. But considering Jericho has been in the company for 3 years now and the win on SD was his first official victory over Triple H, it's pretty obvious who's ahead in that feud. Why would Jericho get a receipt for WM if he never got a receipt for Fully Loaded?

Why in the hell does Hogan have to be on Smackdown. I know he's the champ, but he's already facing Undertaker at J-Day. Just keep him on Raw, so at least maybe one show isn't completley terrible.

Man, I am torn now on one hand I have been wanting to see those two go HIAC for a long time.  On the other hand I don't know if I could bring myself to order a PPV that has Hogan/Taker as the main.

I am interested to see who tries to take credit for the buyrate between HHH/HHH.  If it is good trying to say themselves or bad trying to pawn it off on the other.  One thing that really sucks is they are going to have a week and a half build-up to a HIAC match.  The HIAC match is supposed to be THE blow-off gimmick and now I hope it doesn't go down the ladder match path of monthly gimmick match.

At least the split is doing one thing the WWF said it would do, in the case of bringing new guys up and giving them a place to be, as documented by Rico, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, possibly Jaime Knoble and Shannon Moore soon; and now this Deacon Bastina/Damager dude.

As good as that HIAC match *should* be, I can't shake the feeling that it's yet another knee jerk reaction to slumping business, in an effort to get the buys up; meaning that I doubt this is what the WWF had in mind back when Trips lost the title, or even as late as last week....A HIAC with no purpose, I guess.

I agree, in saying that hopefully this will be a true blow-off it's supposed to be, and not yet another match in the series between Jericho and Triple H. But again, going with my sentiments above, I think this match will simply be used for Jericho and Triple H to continue the fued over, and not as an ending point.

Who knows. Maybe it is just one random act of violence. I suppose everyone can hope that Triple H DOES turn heel, in order to inject some life into his stale character. It'd be smart of the WWF to go through with this, then again, it would've been smarter if they would've done it before now and save face.
