Mole Posted December 23, 2004 Report Posted December 23, 2004 Haha, Nintendo sucks. For some odd reason, but this had me laughing really hard.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 25, 2004 Report Posted December 25, 2004 Nintendo has been saying that they dont think that making the machine more powerful will introduce anything new to videogames, so they've been looking at otherways to make the next system usher in a revolution in video games. Consider that for the most part, the control mechanism for games has relied on the same basic idea that was used on the NES - the buttons and D Pad. I dont think it will be motion recognition. I can say that motion recognition technology isn't ready for primetime just yet. Anyone who has messed with a Xavix system knows that. I was also thinking a touchscreen control pad, but I dont think that it would be durable enough to use fingers on and it would be really wierd to have to use a stylus.
Scroby Posted December 25, 2004 Report Posted December 25, 2004 You know if anything, they could just take off a D-pad, leave the analog on, and rename the a and b buttons but then again that wouldn't really be something new.
Guest T®ITEC Posted December 25, 2004 Report Posted December 25, 2004 another good one would be if every game were run like DDR. Now that I could get behind. Tremendous idea. You wanna run in a game? Run on the gamepad! Ah, that's fun.
