My theory was that once the overrun ran 15 minutes over, Spike knew they had too much time to kill with commericials until 10:30 (and before one of you idiots corrects me: I LIVE IN THE GODDAMNED CENTRAL TIME ZONE, a part of the country TV programmers seemed to have forgotten exists when promoting their schedules, BTW).

 

Of course, I've always wondered how Raw could run until 10:05 and the schedule could be back to the normal :00 start time by the next day (unless they shorten commerical breaks here and there for the rest of the night).
