Guest Anglesault Report post Posted May 9, 2002 I truly think the hippies are out for themselves and not the animals. Point one. Only a fucking dolt could get the two things confused. Especially when the Wildlife people must have had their actual website on anything they published. Anyone who couldn't put two and two together doesn't deserve a computer. And what did they think was going to happen if Aunt Mildred went online and accidentally hit WWF.com? She wouldn't be able to distinguish between a fucking panda and Hulk Hogan? (Maybe with the black and white boas, but not now) What, was she going to think that the Tree Huggers sold out? Point two: With all the fucking money they wasted dragging this out, couldn't they..you know, save a God damned animal? Isn't there a rat in the Yukon that could have used help? Plain and simple, the WWF (Panda Fuckers) could give a shit about the animals. If they cared, they would have used the money for that cause.
Guest Report post Posted May 9, 2002 I truly think the hippies are out for themselves and not the animals. You're so correct. I've said this a million times, but the WWF (Nature) supports animal testing. I can't even begin to explain why it is wrong on so many levels for a foundation dedicated to protecting animals to support this brutal act of cruelty. I've had more than my fair share of dealings with these buggers. Anyways, I'm going to stop now before I start ranting too off-topic here... ;p

Guest DrEvil Report post Posted May 9, 2002 I thought the WWPandas were being unreasonable before but they had legal ground and their point could be seen. Now it's getting ridiculous. They won, WWFE conceded defeat and gave them a name that they have spent a hell of a lot more time and effort developing and promoting than the WWPandas have. But that's not good enough, not only does WWE have to give up the specific name, they also want them to give up anything that can be associated with the name they developed, that's just malicious. What do you do when you have 100 lawyers buried up to their necks in sand? Get more sand.
Guest One Bad Apple Report post Posted May 10, 2002 I wish someone killed all the people at the World Wildlife Fund and panda bears. Yeah ... not only do any people belonging to the organization deserve to be killed, but so do the panda bears. How dare they have one of their kind appearing on the logo. You fucking child. What do you do when you have 100 lawyers buried up to their necks in sand? Get more sand. Exactly what I was saying. WWF (Wrasslin) gave up and conceded to the WWF (Pandas), which is what the WWF (Hippies) wanted in the first place, and this is what was basically right-minded by the WWF (Wrasslin) and it's what I would've accepted. Now that they're riding high on their court victory, they're trying to get another one up on the WWF (Federation), for what seems like a bullshit reason, and only to say that "we beat the WWF". I for one, hope that no judge in his right mind gives this victory to the Pandas, if not for fairness, but because it'll be a testament that any frivolous lawsuit can win, no matter how bullshitted it is. Yes, WWF broke the agreement, but the other WWF is taking it too far for no reason at all. WWF and WWE are two different monikers, and if the WWF thinks that someone won't be able to tell the difference, then I wonder who's the real idiot in this whole thing. And who's next? Surely not the WWA....the WWF is being made an example of, just because they're the biggest fish in the pond. WWA (that other fed) has a similar name to WWF (nature), as close of similarity WWE has. Not only are WWF being unfair at this point, they're being hypocrits as well. In short, WWF broke the agreement, and WWFund sued rightfully. But at this point, they're being huge assholes about it, in my estimation.

Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted May 10, 2002 Next, the can sue the world wide web! After all, WWW looks like WWE if you turn the W sideways, and according to them WWE is too much like WWF, so I guess www has to go!
Guest Report post Posted May 10, 2002 Fighting in court over the "WWF" logo back between 92'-94' was the least of Vince's court problems.
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted May 10, 2002 The Panda People are just pissed because the World Wrestling Federation is a household name and basically what people think of when they think of wrestling, while the Super Pandas are some ho hum Wildlife fund that no one cares about. Too bad for them that people will STILL think of the WWF when they think of wrestling and still think of WWE as the WWF, while no one will still have heard of the Wildlife Fund. If they have a problem with that, too bad. They should save a panda or something instead of worrying about a stupid name anyway.

Guest JHawk Report post Posted May 11, 2002 I think Vince should beat them at their own game. See, the World Wrestling Federation and WWF are registered trademarks in the United States. Why not file a trademark infringement suit against the World Wildlife Fund and claim that the name change is infringing on the WWF trademark and that the cost of the change is detrimental to the quality of the product. We can all testify to the last portion of that. I'm not a lawyer, but it sure sounds good, doesn't it? Seriously, what the bloody hell? Yes, Vince broke the agreement. But if they really believe anybody with half a brain was really confused by the name change they're dumber than Stephanie McMahon yelling, "Look Daddy, I make a great heel! I'm so charismatic!"
