Guest Report post Posted May 8, 2002 Now, Obviously i'm a huge scott hall fan, which is why this post is biased and quite FAR FETCHED. BUT, these possibilities could be quite true - I'm not disagreeing with what appears to be the facts, but sometimes the internet can spread so much S**t , it just ain't worth reading. These are the possible reasons of Scott Hall not being fired but simply could be a very well worked angle. Numero uno, Incidents that have occurred on the plane, about Hall being 'wasted', has not being released by the WWE officially at press time. No. 2: Scott recently brought his kids to Raw, and was said to be the perfect role model as a parent - I put this in because it shows him acting like a responsible adult, not a stupid drunk. No 3: During this UK tour, Scott Hall's best friend Nash was present. Now, one would think that 'big and tall' would stop 'clean and sober' from touching any form of alcohol at all, and may i once again remind everyone that the WWE has not oficially reported anything of the incident yet. No 4: the fact that the WWE has announced officially that scott hall has been released is really quite bizarre. Eddy Guerrero, had similar problems to Hall in terms of drinking, and when he was fired the WWE kept their mouths shut for 8 months and then all of a sudden The 'Laatinooo heeeeaatt' is back in action. No: 5 - Rumour sites, that claim to have relaible headlines state that WWE officials were angry with Hall after insurrection after allegedly being drunk. There was a 90% chance at this point that they were going to fire him, but the management decided to wait and see how he would turn up on Raw. Of course these sites claim that Hall turned up in a 'very drunken state' which sealed his fate of being fired after tonights show. First off, where do these people get this information - a guy working in the WWE could state "heheheh this is funny, let's tell this guy that scott Hall likes men", and they'll believe it. This is why I don't read crap about wrestling on the net anymore, it's too un-trustworthy. WWE authorities are not like WCW authorities who let Hall wrestle completely intoxicated. Evidence that indicates scott hall was NOT drunk during raw, was during his promos before the match - he was fine. I'm assuming here that the WWE would never have let Scott Hall wrestle if he turned up to Raw intoxicated - even if he sobered up by the end, he still presents a danger to himself and the people he wrestles. Yet that night on Raw he wrestled, and wrestled quite well. The whole time during Raw he looked focused and under control. One can tell when scott hall is really intoxicated, go grab an old starrcade tape with scott hall in the main event, or any match with scott hall vs. goldberg - He never took those matches seriosuly. So if any of you have taken the time to read up to this point THANKS, and I reckon everyone will know the real status on Scott Hall after next weeks episode of Raw. One more thing, the ratings have been soaring down, and will you be tuning in to raw this week to see what's going on with the nWo?, I know I will. If people have read the news on the net, everyone will be eagerly anticipating this weeks raw, which will send the ratings flying high. So whatever the outcome, whether he is fired or not, Scott will most likely return to the WWE, whether it's worth it, will remain up to him. As Vince said on his recent interview in Australia one can "Never say Never, in the WWF".

Guest DerangedHermit Report post Posted May 8, 2002 As Vince said on his recent interview in Australia one can "Never say Never, in the WWF". But it's not the WWF anymore! It's the WWE! GET THE F OUT!
Guest Report post Posted May 8, 2002 No 4: the fact that the WWE has announced officially that scott hall has been released is really quite bizarre. Actually, it's not. Over the last 1-2 years they always announce when they've released someone as far as I remember. They don't necessarily give a reason, but the fact that they announced it on the site isn't bizarre at all. ;p

Guest Smeghead Report post Posted May 8, 2002 When they announce on WWE.com that someone has been released, it means they've been released. The only times in recent memory where they didn't mention someone being released on WWE.com/WWF.com were Viscera and Eddie Guerrero, and in both cases they hadn't been on TV in quite a while, so most fans wouldn't notice that they were gone. Above all, remember this: There is no such thing as an internet swerve in the WWE. There aren't enough internet WWE fans to pull off something like that. Guest Anglesault Report post Posted May 9, 2002 Eddy got a mention in the Ross Report when he was axed.
Guest Report post Posted May 9, 2002 Yeah, they acknowledge all of their releases some way. Be it in the Hoss Report, on the site itself, in an article etc., they always acknowledge it. I think he acknowledged Big Vis in the Ross Report.

Guest dpac Report post Posted May 9, 2002 i too think hall is gone,,but it would of been cool if the wwe did throw us a huge swerve,,,,i think lesnar and perfect could easily be played off as the next hbk/hart shoot/work feud for the newer generation of fans,,,we totally need something that is unpredictable,,,because i for one am getting bored of the nicely packaged wwe product we get each week

Guest notJames Report post Posted May 9, 2002 [snip] Since you already said your opinions were probably far-fetched, I won't state the obvious. However, I have to refute one thing... ...During this UK tour, Scott Hall's best friend Nash was present. Now, one would think that 'big and tall' would stop 'clean and sober' from touching any form of alcohol at all... Scott Hall is a grown man. He shouldn't need a babysitter, alcoholism or not. He's not Nash's responsibility, nor Vince McMahon's. The guy shit on all the chances he was given and obviously learned nothing from them. Hear that? That's me playing the world's smallest violin for Scott Hall. Feh.
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted May 9, 2002 I look at it like this: Why would they fire Scott Hall -- who they pay a lot of money, who is involved in a major storyline, who fans actually see on TV and some may be paying to see live, who has merchandise to sell -- over some shit with Michael Hayes? I don't know what Hayes' job is, but he's way more replaceable than Hall. And would HHH and Hogan and the gang stand for that?
