Guest Report post Posted May 8, 2002 i guess just chalk another one up to the writers missing layups, but please explain this to me. How could you screw up Brock? The crowd was way into him, and his buildup was actually handeled suprisingly well. After the draft, this board actually named Brock as one of the very few good things about Raw. And now, Lesnar.....and Stasiak!? Wha? why and how did this happen? Who thought it could possibly lead to anything good for either guy? Two weeks ago, Brock was an unstoppable, untouchable monster. Now he's not just squashing jobbers, he's actually involved in angles with them. i wonder if anybody thought Brock was a "threat".
Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted May 8, 2002 I don't have a problem with a slow buildup. Why have him main-eventing when he's been on the big show for less than 2 months? Do you want him wrestling HHH, SCSA, Hogan, Angle, Undertaker already? When that time comes he'll have to start losing some matches. He's not ready to lose matches yet. Let him take it slow and kill all the jobbers. Let him squash people like the Hardys, Stasiak and then slowly take him to the next level.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted May 8, 2002 hmmmmm during Goldbergs famous win streak he basically beat jobbers like: Jerry Flynn Brad Armstrong Meng Goldberg fought these low to midcard wrestlers several times on Nitro, and he went on to destroy Hogan
Guest Report post Posted May 8, 2002 hmmmmm during Goldbergs famous win streak he basically beat jobbers like: Jerry Flynn Brad Armstrong Meng Goldberg fought these low to midcard wrestlers several times on Nitro, and he went on to destroy Hogan and that's why Goldberg's streak was crap, nobody even paid attention untill he started beating actual stars like Raven. The reason i worry about Brock is mainly the Goldber chant, the crowd was basically mocking the guy's whole angle. And i wouldn't be suprised if it keeps happening every time he's up against some jobber. I'm not saying Brock should be powerbombing Hogan through announce tables, but Stasiak is a joke character. He's filler. And it's acceptable as a one time thing, but if Brock stays on the low end of the card doing nothing, his momentum is killed before it even starts. At least give him a chance to succed. Who will he fight next, Funaki? Mr. Perfect? the big hardy confrontation only led to two matches, both of them ignorable, why couldn't that have gone on a little longer? At least the crowd watches the hardys, instead of going to take a piss and grab a chilli dog when Stasiak comes out.
Guest converge241 Report post Posted May 8, 2002 Jerry Flynn Brad Armstrong Meng hugh morrus steve mcmichael (before the official streak, but) they started caring about him during the flock stuff, in particular the Saturn series.. thats what BROCK~! needs.. maybe Kanyon can have a series with him to make him look a little better.. maybe Lance Storm? Guest razazteca Report post Posted May 8, 2002 maybe its time for Beniot, Kanyon, Awesome to make Brock look good? But at this rate Brock has destroyed the lowcard, its time to go after the Hardcore division.....the ECW wrestlers.
Guest Report post Posted May 8, 2002 I think the Brock buildup is going fine destroying lowcard just makes sure everyone know's he's a legitimit threat everyone wins there first few matches but sense the beginning people have been comparing him to Goldberg when really he's nothing like him Goldberg was a football player who didn't give a damn about wrestling juts about his pay check but he was a big guy and one of WcW's last attempts to put over new talent and it blew up in their face when Goldberg started beating up cars and refusing to be a heel We know Brock can wrestle so far he's being built up as a monster he moves slow because he's mathotical and punishing however he sold the matt hardy nut shot for like 5 minutes and i believe that once he moves up the card he'll put on some great matches because he has the work ethic being a amature wrestler like board fav Kurt Angle just give it time as much as it looks like it sometimes its not the 80's anymore Hogan doesn't need a new unstopable moster to beat at this pay per view
Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted May 8, 2002 Brock should do an angle with Dreamer, Raven, and Bubba. Play off their former Heyman relationship.
Guest Report post Posted May 8, 2002 Brock should do an angle with Dreamer, Raven, and Bubba. Play off their former Heyman relationship. I was hoping Brock would be used as Heyman's way of rebuilding his image. Paul E would cut a promo about how ECW and the Alliance was a failure and he was starting his life over with the next big thing. Heyman would use Brock to get "revenge" on all the former ECW jobbers. Meh, sounded like a good idea a month or so ago
Guest Report post Posted May 8, 2002 I'd like to see Heyman reform a Dangerous Alliance with Brock and about 2-3 others. The WWE needs a couple stables (no the nWo is not a stable goddamnit).

Bring back the Dungeon of Doom! The Four Horsemen were good too. The Horsemen should be: Benoit Storm Jericho Flair (Seperate him from the Big Shit!) Anderson should serve as an Advisory or managerial role.
Guest Report post Posted May 8, 2002 Heh... the say the WWF/E works, they'll be building Brock up to get crushed by Goldberg. Also... THE FOUR HORSEMEN SHOULD NEVER BE REDONE...AGAIN. It can only be screwed up worse. Why redo old things and fail... why not start something new. Note: DX, nWo, 4HM, etc...
Guest Report post Posted May 8, 2002 On the subject of the 4 horsemen, with the exception of Mongo, that was a SWEET reincarnation. In 95, Pillman, Anderson, Flair and Benoit wasn't bad either...was it?
Guest Report post Posted May 9, 2002 Stables are generally only good when they are new and original rehashing old stables only cheepens the memory of the original stable that was so great The 4 horsemen will never be as great as their first incarnation same goes for DX, NwO ect. You act as if it would be great to just flood the place with stables 4 horsemen, NwO, DX, why not throw in Nation of Domination, DOA, LWO, every horrible stable cuz everyone knows stables draw

Note: DX, nWo, 4HM, etc... HERE HERE!!!! I just think the WWE(HA) should create new stables, with totally new "personalities", for each brand. The time has come again...there are enough on the roster and coming up fro developmentals... So then, under those criteria, what kind of teams would you like to see for RAW and for SMACKDOWN! ???
