Too bad ABC won't interview the losing coach like CBS does with the basketball national championship, Stoops could possibly have a Roy Williams moment....

"Coach what about the Cleveland Browns job?"

"I could give a shit about the Cleveland Browns"

If I paid all that money to go to, as well as just the ticket for a seat, I would not leave early, regardless of score.

I have left 2 games as a spectator early.

One was a high school game that my alma mater was losing 40-0 in the 2nd quarter.

The other was in college at an away game, and it was not my decision, but the band directors.

It was pouring down rain, 35 degrees with 20 mph winds, and we were... you guessed it, losing.

Other than that, I've sat end to end for every game I attended.

I wonder if Auburn will get a small share by winning the AP since OU has had such a shitty performance. I doubt it though being as USC

beat a better team by a much larger margin

No chance in hell the AP could justify voting Auburn #1.

Even though OU is getting the ever loving shit kicked out of them, no one can take away the fact that they have had a great year and that this is just one of those games where they don't have anything going their way.  USC isnt really hands down more talented than OU, they are just getting every break possible.

......

This is a shitkicking, pure and simple. Guess Woody Page was right today on ATH (he was the one that said OU's secondary wasn't that great, right?)

And there is NO way Auburn is getting a single 1st place vote because USC was just too dominant tonight for anyone to overlook.

Wow, I mean maybe OU is having a bad night but does anyone else think Auburn should have been there instead, I still stay to my word that Utah could beat anyone though.

I hear the greatest chant in college sports right now...

"Over rated" "Over rated" "Over rated"

I don't care who it happens to (unless I happen to be rooting for a particular team) it just gives me chills.

I've been saying that all damn year.

At Damaramu's request (since he got himself banned as result of this.... game), he asked me to post this (mainly directed to me, but I assume to all the people who said USC was the one to do it...,

Damaramu26: You were right Slasher Flick. USC ate OU for lunch.

Sincerely,

Damaramu

I think Utah might have been able to hang for three quarters since they have a great o-line and a very solid secondary. Plus Alex Smith is more mobile than Jason White. But they couldn't have beaten USC and probably would have lost by 10 or more.

Auburn wouldn't have been able to put up the points I don't think. The USC defense is making the Va Tech defense look like Citadel and that Va Tech D was solid as hell.

USC won the National Championship, but Auburn and Utah both have good reasons to complain.

Was Damaramu really banned, hell I doubt it. But even I though OU would win and I hate them.

His status says banned, but I'm not sure why he was banned.

Not really my business anyways.

Honestly it's for the best. I look forward to the college football threads next year.

Might have had something to do with the hanging stuff in three straight posts. He requested banning? That's new.

I'm not mocking OU, they did deserve the shot just like Utah and Auburn. They just happened to get crushed instead of proving themselves.

He took the lost pretty well. He didn't melt down like Anglesault did....seems to me whoever banned him was waiting to do for awhile but wanted to see how he reacted to this game...and despite Dama acting somewhat civil bout the lost...dropped the ax anyways.

I think Utah would have kept up and Alex Smith is way more mobile than Jason White so I think he would have gotten yards passing and running, and probably made less mistakes, like throwing a jump ball when gettin sacked

He requested it.

Wow, that's too bad. I know he had a bunch of guys who hated him, but I always thought he was a decent guy.

Jason White has pulled a three game Shane Falco.

Game 1: vs Kansas State last season

Game 2: vs LSU last season

Game 3: this one

His big game mental just doesn't seem to be there and he folds under a heavy blitz. Add on his age and I can't see spending more than a 5th round pick on him if picked at all.

Then why did he just not come here for a while instead of asking for a ban.

Ironic you say that, as before the game, on AIM, I told Damaramu to hope White doesnt turn into a Falco....

It's too bad, as I (don't know about Al, though) would have given him a little time to vent, because this is a pretty damn bad loss.

That might be an understatement. I feel the urge to give Jim Ross a shoulder to cry on.

This isn't a loss...this is a total domination.

No way I could mock a team after this loss. It's just cruel and unusual no matter how obnoxious the fan may have been leading up to it.
