Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 New Orleans is the more appealing job. Assuming Haslett is fired. Haslett won't be fired. Haslett saved his job with a great finish this season.
Vern Gagne Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 New Orleans is the more appealing job. Assuming Haslett is fired. Haslett won't be fired. So the Saints are happy with another 7-9, 8-8 season?
GreatWhiteNope Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 What is the halftime entertainment?
Damaramu Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Ah well.....I guess you can't win them all. or any of the important ones for that matter. *looks at the 2000 National Championship plus the 6 more we own* Yup never won the big one.
2GOLD Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 I'm going to hang myself. Excuse me for a second........ They're lucky I'm not coach. I would kick them all off the team, forfeit the game, and fly to a tropical island with all the money I've made off this gig.  BOOMER SOONER!!!  Dude, chill. You have an entire second half. I'm sure the L'ville fans can tell you about a little first half lead they saw fall to pieces in the second half.  Offensive line start blocking, maybe you get back into this game.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 What is the halftime entertainment? Jim Ross crying into his hat sucking down Barbque sauce.
GreatWhiteNope Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 OU's promotional commercial looks like one of those old "Do you like drawing? - send for a free home art test" commercials.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Ah well.....I guess you can't win them all. or any of the important ones for that matter. *looks at the 2000 National Championship plus the 6 more we own* Yup never won the big one. Not with that over-rated piece of garbage in your avatar at the helm.
2GOLD Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 What is the halftime entertainment? Â The Auburn coach laughing loudly into a mic while pointing at all the OU fans with his face painted blue and orange. Â At least, that is what I expected. Â Maybe Toby Keith was going to perform but decided the OU fans didn't deserve him.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 I think I saw Dama in the "Make the B12 Proud" promo. Â He was wearing the Nebraska jersey of course.
Vern Gagne Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Ah well.....I guess you can't win them all. or any of the important ones for that matter. *looks at the 2000 National Championship plus the 6 more we own* Yup never won the big one. If you think Josh Heupel, LeRoy and Dewey Selmon, and Bill Vessels are walking out of that lockerroom. I've got news for you. They're going to be old and gray.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 WORST CASE SCENARIO! Â oh wait.
2GOLD Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 ....no, it's even worse. Â KELLY CLARKSON AND ASHLIE SIMPSON, that just screams BCS to be. Two rapid piles of suck with no talent. Â Sounds about right.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 What is the halftime entertainment? Apparently the put together a large collection of crap. I bet Bob Barron is rocking out to it though.
DerangedHermit Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Holy shit - Kelly Clarkson pulled an Ashlee.
Guest Flyboy Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 New Orleans is the more appealing job. Assuming Haslett is fired. Haslett won't be fired. So the Saints are happy with another 7-9, 8-8 season? 9-7, 7-9, 8-8... Haslett isn't the problem in New Orleans but rather the personnel around him.
GreatWhiteNope Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Why the hell does she need a backtrack. Â It sounds terrible.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Clarkson and Ashlee Simpson? Â Oh Vey. Â How hard is it to get a good rock band to do this? AC/DC or Metallica would rule for the superbowl halftime show...but instead it's Britney Spears or something im sure.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Ah well.....I guess you can't win them all. or any of the important ones for that matter. *looks at the 2000 National Championship plus the 6 more we own* Yup never won the big one. If you think Josh Heupel, LeRoy and Dewey Selmon, and Bill Vessels are walking out of that lockerroom. I've got news for you. They're going to be old and gray. The attitude around OU stinks. It stinks and it sucks!
GreatWhiteNope Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Is this country guy lip-synching? Â That's hilarious.
2GOLD Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 You know the Halftime show is in trouble when the only singer is TRACE ADKINS. Who looks like he raided Bret Hart's closet and stole all his clothes. Â So wait...Ashlie Simpson is the big finish?!?! Â Was Rod Stewart busy?
Vern Gagne Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 OU misses that crooked SOB Barry Switzer.
Damaramu Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Yes 2GOLD we do have an entire second half. But the defense pretty much needs to shut USC out in the second half for us to win this game. Can they do it? Yeah they can if they tighten up and play like they did on that last drive. And maybe Leinart will break his leg on hiw way back to the field.......
therealworldschampion Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 O.J. should reveal the real killer(s) in the second half. They're going to need blowout filler material anyway.
teke184 Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Hrm... Â After consecutive years of Buffalo Bills duty in the title game, Oklahoma may have some trouble getting rated highly in the near-future if they aren't the sole undefeated teams.
Vern Gagne Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 New Orleans is the more appealing job. Assuming Haslett is fired. Haslett won't be fired. Haslett saved his job with a great finish this season. So the horrible 4-8 start off the season. Counts for nothing?
therealworldschampion Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 What a horrible halftime show. Much like the 2003 NFC title game halftime show, but at least us Philly fans had the good sense to boo the shit out of Ja Rule.
teke184 Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 New Orleans is the more appealing job. Assuming Haslett is fired. Haslett won't be fired. Haslett saved his job with a great finish this season. So the horrible 4-8 start off the season. Counts for nothing? As opposed to a NORMAL Saints season, which is typically 6-4 or 7-3 followed by a 5 or 6 game slide at the end?
