Guest converge241 Report post Posted May 8, 2002 Apparently according to 1Wrestling he debuted at the tapings.. I would have had him be Diesel to Christian's Shawn Michaels myself, as it allows a talented worker to have a reason to be taken seriously with "Joe WWF" because they have a big guy outside who can interfere and get the win. Dvon doesnt seem to need one and usually if you add a seconday character to a not-quite-yet established wrestler it fails. See: Y2J/Mr.Hughes.
Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted May 8, 2002 We'll see. Anything to get D-von over works fer me. I havent seen many pictures, but isn't leviathan pretty similar to brock?

Guest Report post Posted May 8, 2002 It's funny. I was just thinking this morning about the idea of them bringing up Leviathan and then I read this. He has a great look. Anyone know how he is in the ring?
Guest Cataclysm911 Report post Posted May 8, 2002 That's cool, all we need now is the Prototype.
Guest tpww7 Report post Posted May 8, 2002 I was at the tapings last night and at first no one knew who he was, some were thinking Bull Buchanan. Anyways, during the D-Von - HHH match he gets in a few good shots on HHH when he is on the outside but the third time HHH goes outside, he blocks a charge by Leviathan and Leviathan takes a pretty nasty bump straight into the ring post from what I saw bouncing backwards a few feet
Guest art_vandelay Report post Posted May 8, 2002 Fuck man, ever heard of a *SPOILER* header? Please edit the title of this thread for the few of us who like to be surprised.
Guest Mik at Cornell Report post Posted May 9, 2002 Shit man, now that you know that D-Von has a bodyguard, there is no need to turn on Smackdown.
Guest Report post Posted May 9, 2002 That is one scary man.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 9, 2002 See this guy makes the type of monster that wrestling needs. He can walk out and be scary he doesn't need to be made into a monster in the ring by dominating guys. The problem with Lesnar is that he looks goofy and has to be made to look like a monster in ring...he doesnt look the part of a monster. Leviathan has that Bruiser Brody vibe to his look where all he'd have to do is walk down the aisle to strike fear into young kids. Leviathan wouldn't need a Goldberg type of monster push, he can be the type of monster who is beatable but the guy that beats him will leave on a stretcher. I hope WWF takes advantage of his look during the Dvon stint and after. I'd like to had seen him get a different introduction. It would've been nice to had seen Jericho bring him in to help with Hogan. Then when Jericho called him out he'd come out destroy Hogan, but then turn around and take out Jericho too. Then he just starts coming out with no pyros, no music, no name and never speaks but is somehow getting matches. He doesn't go undefeated but he destroys people for a few weeks sending alot of people off in ambulances. Then somehow Shane reveals himself as the man behind this unnamed monster. Shane orders the unnamed monster around leading into the ppv match against whoever with Vince in their corner. Vince's guy wins after Vince attacking Shane distracts the monster. Vince and his wrestler turn their attention to Shane as the monster gets up and stares at them. As they go for him the monster destroys the wrestler and Vince cowers in the corner. As Shane is up dancing around and ordering him to destroy Vince the monster spins around and grabs Shane and throws him through the announce table from the ring. Then Vince thinks it means he's on his side so goes to shake his hand and well you can see where that leads. Then the next night we some how find out that Heyman is the only that can control the monster. This way Heyman can get a bigger role and be a thorn in Vince's and Flair's side since he'd have a monster of his own on Raw and Smackdown and Leviathan would have someone to speak for him. That was the gimmick of my favorite wrestler, Earthquake.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 9, 2002 It was? god damn it my what i thought was a good idea adds up to friggin Earthqauke. Ah well that would've just been to show him as a monster so the earthquakeness would've ended.
Guest dpac Report post Posted May 9, 2002 i have been waiting for this guy to show up for a couple of years now,,,it is odd b/c in ovw he played a satanic character,,and now he is with the bible beating d-von,,,he could possibly use it as a catalyst when he breaks away,,
Guest Risk Report post Posted May 9, 2002 Well, before he left OVW he broke up with Synn(Miss Fatass Goth Wannabe, think incredably huge Daffney with 'magic' powers) and the Disciples Of Synn. Not that they will acknowledge it on TCFKA(The Company Formally Known As) WWF TV.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 9, 2002 it is odd b/c in ovw he played a satanic character,,and now he is with the bible beating d-von But remember Dvon is just doing it for the money. So he's not exactly good and just. They need to hire Sinister Minister and put him with Dvon.

Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted May 9, 2002 Hmm. Well Deacon Batista(SP?) reminds me of a slightly shorter Bull Buchanan with bigger arms and some pretty nasty tatoos from what I saw off the early satellite feed. Not as big and scary as I thought he was supposed to be from the way he was described earlier in this thread...

Guest art_vandelay Report post Posted May 9, 2002 Shit man, now that you know that D-Von has a bodyguard, there is no need to turn on Smackdown. You think I give a fuck about D'Von? It's Leviathan's debut that I care about.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 9, 2002 Well then now you will be able to make sure you pay attention and see his debut instead of accidently missing it if you happen to not pay attention. It's not like he came out to some big angle and taking the surprise will ruin it all.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 9, 2002 In the face he kinda looks like Crowbar

Guest Report post Posted May 9, 2002 See this guy makes the type of monster that wrestling needs. He can walk out and be scary he doesn't need to be made into a monster in the ring by dominating guys. The problem with Lesnar is that he looks goofy and has to be made to look like a monster in ring...he doesnt look the part of a monster. Whoa, hold on there. Brock looks "goofy"? He's got huge neck and shoulder muscles and that "bullet" head...i my opinion, he looks like he's not all there, almost like he's mentally disabled. But I think that's a GOOD thing. You can never really be sure he understands what he's doing, and what it means to really destroy someone in the ring. And then there's the fact that he's managed by Paul Heyman... ...this Leviathan guy looks okay. He looks a little too much like Bull Buchanan for my taste, but he can probably work around that. He's got some seriously large thigh muscles, though. That's amazing.
Guest The Fett Report post Posted May 9, 2002 I think Leviathan would have been a much better choice to align with Paul Heyman then Brock. He has the scary look to pull of this intimidating monster that Lesner tries to be. He also looks like the type of character you would find in ECW. Lesner on the other hand really does look goofy. He looks like a clean cut "All American boy". Sure, he has the huge size, but his face really isn't intimidating at all. I would have rather had Lesner aligned with Kurt Angle. He could play a character similar to Angle, since he has all the accolades from his past in amateur wrestling. He could play a bodyguard for Kurt Angle, kind of a protégé for Angle. That type of gimmick would fit Lesner much more then his current one.
Guest Report post Posted May 10, 2002 The reason Brock looks so weird is because he was always a big guy that was built i mean he was a NCAA wrestling champion heavyweight but he's like almost too big now thats why his head looks so weird on his body
Guest Report post Posted May 10, 2002 Leviathan looks cool but I have always heard he sucks in the ring. They should of used Bull Buchanan instead.
