Sd spoiler reporters:i see a bias

Recommended Posts

I was looking for spoilers to SD on Meltzer's site (cause sometimes the other sites get bogus spoilers and Meltzer's are almost always correct) and read that at the end of SD, the main event tag ended in a no contest because HHH sledge hammered everyone. At the beggining of the show, HHH was jumped by Jericho and some McMahon goons and got punked. Later HHH lost to D-Von due to Jericho interference. Listening to that, it sounds like HHH laid everyone out to get his heat back from the loss and getting beat down.

I went back to the same site and there were detailed spoilers and then I found out that after HHH laid everyone out, Vince called Hunter out, then HHH got laid out by Jericho and a chair. Show ends with Jericho and Vince over a toppled HHH.

I think that is biased reporting. The first spoiler report makes it sound like HHH had to get his heat back and end the show with him standing triumphant over everyone. The second report makes it sound like Jericho is going over in the situations he and HHH are put in on this particular show. (which is not a bad thing) As much flack as HHH gets on this board and throughout the internet community (some of it deserved, some of it is maniacal obsession) posting biased spoilers is wrong. It would be one thing if it was from an opinionated point of view, but when you are messing with facts and posting outright lies you now suck.

I guess we have to wait and see where the show ends.

They have it filmed both ways...maybe they'll decide how they want it to end (with HHH on top, or Jericho) before it airs.

Wow, common sense from a HHH hater? I guess there truly ARE exceptions to everything.

As long as he is not the undisputed champion until he gets back into ring shape...he doesn't bother me so much.

Bps 21, from a HHH sympathizer to a HHHater you are dead right. HHH should not have the undisputed title until he shakes his ring rust and is in Main Event shape consistently. His last match on SD with Jericho gives me hope he can eventually get there. I am with Bps in that the undisputed champ should be someone who can go main event style. This is why I am so against Hulk Hogan as champ. And you do have a point Bps, we'll have to wait and see thursday what ending will be on tv.

I'm going to try to find the feed of Smackdown on my Big Honking Satellite dish tonight (usually, but not always on at midnight on wednesday) If I get it I'll report back in this thread with my observations.  Im intrigued as to how it went down as well, and hopefully I wont have to wait...

Well, at first it looked like it was going to end with HHH in the ring after he had beat up everyone with the sledgehammer because they started playing his music, but not so fast.  Vince came out and tried to get HHH to swing at him on the apron (nearly tripping over Hogan in the process), and HHH finally did but Vince jumped off the apron and HHH missed only to walk into a Jericho chair shot, and then only Jericho standing over HHH end of show.  So thats how it ends, if you were curious.

Oh, and Tazz and Cole mention the whole World Wildlife Fund not liking the similarity between their name and the WWF, so that was finally mentioned on air.

You have to remember that the sites get their spoilers sent in from fans that go to the shows.  Everyone sees the same thing differently.

Mabey that's why the much talked about fatal four way was scraped and Jericho and HHH were put in the Cell.  A test to see if HHH is ready to really work hard to put on a good match.

Just a thought.

Well...something must have happened.

Booking Taker and Hogan can be deemed true poison (example: the Raw quarter hour rating tanks during their segment last week).

Maybe thats why they are sacrificing Jericho in the cell.

they have to get a buyrate from somewhere.

As good as Edge vs. Angle 2 and Eddy vs. RVD 2 are...they are rematches from the same damn thing last month.

Hogan vs. Taker...um...no.

I was all set to endorse Austin vs. Flair...then they added Big Show and I am utterly disgusted.

My breakdown of the ppv:

The Good:  Angle vs. Edge and Eddy vs. RVD can rule.  the HIAC should be exciting live.  maybe we'll get a cruiser match, a Lesner match and a Regal vs. Dlo on the ppv.  Dlo is cool.

The Bad:  the Austin vs. the Nwo continues...despite no real nwo members.

The VERY Bad:  Hogan or Taker leave as champ.

The ugly:  They have to wrestle each other first.
