I ended up lighting candles and playing a few fierce games of chess and checkers to pass the seemingly unbearably long time. What is some of the crazy shit you do when the lights are out. I gathered up a few of friends and we went for a walk around the area. it was quite strange just how little light there is, when just the street lights aren't working. things looked quite strange and not like they usually do. Also... this sounds weird, but my brother and I usually move all the furniture out of the way and do a few rounds of freestyle, Greco-Roman or free submission-type wrestling. Believe it or not, it's really easy to adjust to the fact that you can't see, since you can compensate by doing stuff by feel, especially groundwork (as opposed to on your feet).
