the pinjockey Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 A couple days ago, there was a problem with our computer and upon restart I needed to restart in safe mode, did that, and it worked normal for safe mode. The next time I started the computer (Windows XP, BTW) I tried to start it in normal mode and it worked fine except for the fact that it is now stuck on 4 bit color quality and there are no other options in the color quality pull down menu. I tried looking online and could not find anything. Any suggestions?
ZGangsta Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 What type of video card do you have? Is it onboard or an expansion card? As well, what options do you have for screen resolution? Is that acting normally?
the pinjockey Posted January 12, 2005 Author Report Posted January 12, 2005 Screen resolution is stuck to the less setting (800 x 600), it is just the basic video card that came with the computer (VisionTek, GeForce2 card).
