Tonight, I was banned from the SmartMarks board by one Bps21 for asking how to put a personal picture in my signature tag line. Looks like my two year off and on legacy has finally come to an end. I had been with the Smarks since the Delphi board. Oh well. But, for your entertainment, here is the transcript that got me banned. I'm the guest. This was retrieved after I was banned. Guest - Raw is War. Anyway, wrestling posts aside, I'd really like to know how to put a picture in my signature line. I've tried everything and nothing works. bps21 - Did you try postin that question in the proper forum? that might be a step in the right direction. Guest - Did it ocuur to you, a moderator, that the appropriate thread has a combined total of about 48 posts? I'd like my question answered tonight, not next month. If you don't want to answer the question, fine, but I'm not doing any harm by asking it to the other posters. bps21 - What occurs to me is that this board has rules. Abide by them or be banned. That was the only warning you will get. Guest - Get a life Bps. I'm not breaking any rules. What I'm doing is no different than what you used to do when you turned every intelligent thread into a ridiculous conspiracy theory thread or how Anglesault turns many a thread into a bitchfest about Edge/Angle. I just asked a simple question that would ellicit a simple answer and from me a simple "thanks." I'm not trying to sway the course of the thread. If you would like to ban me for that, feel free. As you can see by my post count this forum is not a big part of my life, sorry to disspaoint you. bps21 - Thats it. Despite my dislike for you I have not let that sway my attitude towards modding this board. Despite the couple of pms I have received from posters about you I have turned the other way because any action taken by me would be constewed as biased. Given the fact that you will not follow rules I issue you a warning. Flaming a mod who told you how to conduct yourself on the board is unexceptable. Goodbye. Well, that's it folks. Banned for asking a simple question. And remember, this is the same Smarks forum where Anglesault is a cult hero. Go figure. Thanks for listening. Oh, and I know Bps is supposed to be a mod here as also. Oh well. - And he says WE don't have OUR facts straight? It says in bps' LAST SENTENCE why he was banned, but of course he skips over all the details in his vain attempt to insult someone. And of course most of those tools believed his side of the story.
