Promo: every dark cloud...

We enter inside a locker room, completely dark except a flickering light around the corner. As we approach to find the source, the voices of the SJL commentary team can be heard over the sound of screaming fans. Suddenly, the voices are cut off and replaced but a slow, whirring sound. We turn the corner to see the back of a man watching footage from the recent Metal. There is a towel draped over his head, so we move to his side to reveal the profile of Ced Ordonez.

 

Ced: Something’s missing…I could have won, maybe even should have won, but I lost. I don’t know how it happened, but I pinned myself with my own backdrop suplex. I’ve watched this footage over and over again, but the video is irrefutable. I guess it was a momentary lapse of concentration. That’s all.

 

Ced stops the tape and static can be heard from his television screen. He removes the towel over his head and holds it in his right hand.

 

Ced: Like that old saying goes, “Every dark cloud has a silver lining.” I just have to find one out of this…

 

He stands and begins to walk to the locker room exit as the camera pans over to the static filled screen.

 

Ced: ::off-screen:: …a silver lining…
