after the break, Flair is shown talking to Arn. He explains he is going use some more of his Authority tonight, by giving his son a job. Arn questions just giving it to him. Flair agrees and announces he will give him a tryout match tonight against a "relatively" new superstar for the chance, a wrestler who has taken Raw by storm.

{with the impression being given it will be Brock Lesnar}

 

RVD & DLO vs REGAL & GUERRERO

would have some time devoted to it. Finish would see RVD and Dlo argue about who gets to give Eddie the frog splash and Regal would use the knux on RVD for Eddie to get the roll up.

 

Backstage, Flair makes DLo vs. Regal official for the ppv. He is interupted by knocking on the door. He calls security to make sure its not Austin. Once he finds out its not he has Arn let him in. Goldust enters, dressed as Flair

Flair: "You better have a good reason for looking like that"

GD: "Please Mr. flair, this is merely an homage to the Nature Boy. Much like the Prince and the Pauper, I am only a mere mirror image, paling in comparison. I ask that you use your Authority and give the greates tag team of this generation, Booker T and Goldust a chance to reach for the tag team hollywood walk of fame. A shot at the tag team champions at Judgment Day."

Flair: "Well, it is Raw's turn to have a shot at the tag titles. But you have to earn it against the Hardy Boys tonight!"

GD: "you are kind and fair, mr.Flair"

Arn and Flair roll eyes.

backstage, Bubba Ray Dudley apologizes to Trish and she accepts.. they challenge Richards and Jazz to a tag match tonight.

also backstage, Flair has Arn take a walk to check on Austin's arrival he gets held up by Planet Stasiak and Dreamer. Arn cant make heads or tails of what Stasiak is saying so he tells Dreamer to go see Flair because he makes more sense.

HARDYS vs BOOKDUST

Booker pins Matt clean. After the match Goldust grabs the mic

GD: :"Now Booker T, we can get that brass ring by going into greuling manly action against Chuck and Billy. It wont be easy though.. The match will be long, hard, and wet"

Booker T: "I got a bad feeling about this"

backstage, dreamer talks to Flair about giving Planet Stasiak a better opponent to work with than Brock Lesanr. Flair says he will take it under advisement, but since Dreamer has so much inititiative hell give put the spotlight on him tonight in a Raw match.

DAVID FLAIR vs MYSTERY OPPONENT

david comes out first and the crowd is awaiting Brock , when ric announces the opponent as Spike Dudley. JR cant believe he would send the injured Spike out as a joke of an obstacle.

Spike gets some hope spots but David wins with the figure four. After the win , Undertaker's music hits

*top of the hour/warzone switchover*

David has a shocked look on his face as Taker comes out. Taker gets in david's face, when Ric comes out with a chair..

Taker: "Hold on there Ric! Im not going to hurt your boy. He got my respect by taking his beating like a man. After what you did to Austin, all the Flairs have my respect. Speaking of Austin seeing as how you are waiting for him, have your security notify me when the immortal one arrives. Me and him are going to have to have words, and then im going to bury him in my yard." Glair tells Taker to accompany them back to his office for some Hogan advice.

backstage, Taker and Flair strategize..Bradshaw busts in.

Flair apolgizes but Bradshaw will have none of it. Flair books him against Big Show for right now

BIG SHOW vs BRADSHAW

a glorified squash. Show chokeslams Bradshaw through the spanish announce table after. Flair tells him to accompany him to the back.

Hogan is shown arriving and Taker goes to meet him.

Oustside Taker jumps Hogan. they brawl back and forth until Taker lays out Hogan on the ground. Taker jumps into a nearby utility van and drives into the distance to run over Hogan. Hogan recovers and jumps into another vehicle and starts it. They rev off facing each other and drive full force into each other.

cut to JR selling th crash (not overselling it but stressing how dangerous the situation is and the hatred between the two).

They cut back (to replace the stunt drivers) and Hogan and Taker are bloodied, but still trying to go at each other.. they are eventually seperated and taken away

BROCK LESNAR vs. TOMMY DREAMER

Stasiak tries to interfere, but Lesnar still gets the win by KO.

BUBBA RAY DUDLEY&TRISH vs. STEVEN RICHARDS&JAZZ

Trsih is about to get the win on Jazz while Bubba and Richards brawl outside, but Molly interferes and Jazz gets the win. After Raven pins richards to win the Hardcore title.

backstage Flair announces two triple threat matches at Judgment Day: Trish vs Jazz vs. Molly for women's title and Raven vs. Richards vs. Dudley for the Hardcore title. Flair's phone rings Austin has arrived!

Austin is shown heading towards Flair's office, he busts down the door but is jumped by Show, Xpac, and Flair. they beat him unmercifully and Show drags Austin to the ring and dumps him in for his match against X-Pac

MAIN EVENT: AUSTIN vs XPAC

Xpac dominates all while taunting the crowd while Flair and Show get cheapshots in. Austin starts to make the comback but cannot overcome the interference as Show sneaks in a chokeslam whil XPac argyes with the ref and gets the pin. the three have Austin's celebratory beers poured all over him.

JR comments there will be hell to pay at Judgment Day for Flair and the NWO.

*after show goes off the air, Austin gets the usual recover/stunners to send fans home happy*

let me add to this that i didnt want to shake things up too much , just try to pick up seamlessly. And along the same lines, not to stray too far from the WWE style

 

i figured just bury Hall, why bother devoting another angle to a guy fired the way he was..same reasoning no mention of Perfect.

 

If anyone asks Flair does not have a problem with Show/Xpac due to them not being over the original three.

 

and no i do not like David Flair, i just thought it would be a goo element to bring in the fortunate son, and have him be able to wrestle regularly (unlike Shane).

 

i dont bother with match play by play per se on these type of threads..only when ive sent stuff to hotjobs or WWE itself
