Guest bravesfan Report post Posted May 23, 2002 <---- Born and raised in the 50th State. Huh? The Braves play in Atlanta, Georgia last I checked and Hawaii is the 50th state. Unless I missed something, I don't get it. ALL of the Brave games are televised on national TV (either TBS, Turner South or ESPN...) It's only natural I became a fan of theirs. Here in Hawaii we just choose any fav team and run with it. (no Pro Sports here)
Guest Frankie Williams Report post Posted May 31, 2002 I live in Brooklyn NY. Basically I live here because thats where my house is. If I were anywhere else I'd be homeless.

Guest TUS_02 Report post Posted May 31, 2002 Born and raised in Newtown, CT. They invented scrabble here, ya know. And if you have ever seen the movie Sleepers... the juvinelle prison scenes were filmed in my town. During the school year, I attend school in Keene, NH which is where Jumaniji was filmed. Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted May 31, 2002 To keep this thread going why don't we list some of the cool or famous stuff that has happened in our town. Mine was Campbell River and it is a pretty boring town. Rod Brind'Amour from the Hurricanes was born here and I also live about 20 minutes from the Birthplace of Roddy Piper and Pamela Anderson. The 13th Warrior was filmed here and they just finished shooting Final Destination 2 here as well.
Guest Report post Posted May 31, 2002 nothing ever fuckin happened here, nothing will ever happen here, EVER --Rob
Guest treble charged Report post Posted May 31, 2002 Sometime in the late 1980s-early 90s (it was before I moved here anyway), a bunch of people stomped on the Quebec flag at the train station. Also, Stacey Dales (3rd overall pick on the last WNBA draft) is from here, and so is former MuchMusic VJ Racheal Perry (she actually went to the same high school that I go to). NHL players Randy Ladoucer, current assistant coach of the Carolina Hurricanes and Todd Gill are also from here. Toronto Maple Leaf Alyn MacAuley is listed as being from Brockville, but he is actually from Ganannoque (sp?), which is about half an hour away.

Guest treble charged Report post Posted May 31, 2002 She left about a year ago, I think she moved to New York. I have seen her back visiting twice, though.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted May 31, 2002 she probably got taken away by much music usa.
Guest treble charged Report post Posted May 31, 2002 Maybe, it would make sense. I remember hearing her say when she went back that she was working for another music station, so it's either that or MTV. Oh yeah, I forgot, at Christmas, some of us were playing a game of road hockey, and my cousin said he saw her drive by, but I didn't catch her, myself. Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted May 31, 2002 I haven't seen her on mtv and i refuse to watch MMUSA so I bet that is where she is. If you happen to see her again tell her I said "what's up"
Guest treble charged Report post Posted May 31, 2002 Maybe she doesn't have an on-air role with MTV, but then again, I have no clue if she's even working there. And if I see her, I'll be sure to tell her that some guy who lives in BC that I talk to on a wrestling message board on the internet said, "Hi". I'm sure that will score me some points with her, you think?
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted May 31, 2002 you never know. be sure to let her know that it was dreamer420. j/k
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted June 1, 2002 I've lived in Westchester County New York all my life except for one year I spent in the wretched horrible stinky state of North Carolina. In late August I'm moving to Toronto. College beckons.
Guest treble charged Report post Posted June 1, 2002 More Americans moving up here and taking advantage of our (relatively inexpensive) schools. As long as you don't take my spot, welcome.
