Guest HBK16 Report post Posted May 10, 2002 Ok, I have been watching lucha libre for a while but there are just some questions that were never answered. Who are those group of people that sit on the upper level that always cheer for the rudos and throw confetti and have horns and make a huge scene? Has Shocker worked for any other federation other than CMLL? When was Shocker's debut match (I think it was 1997 but I need an exact date) and against who? Thanks. Guest wolverine Report post Posted May 10, 2002 "Has Shocker worked for any other federation other than CMLL?" He's worked some New Japan Best of the Super Junior tournaments.
Guest HBK16 Report post Posted May 10, 2002 Do you know if he used the name name or another? Thanks.
Guest Report post Posted May 10, 2002 Who are those group of people that sit on the upper level that always cheer for the rudos and throw confetti and have horns and make a huge scene? That's one thing that's always puzzled me too. And I always figured they were cheering for the tecnicio (or however it's spelled).
Guest Jubuki Report post Posted May 10, 2002 The hardcores up there seem to cheer for the tecnicos more than the rudos, from my viewings. If only every audience had a group that got behind workers so faithfully. Shocker went by Super Shocker in NJPW. Not too sure about his debut, but as far as I can surmise, he's worked only in NJ & CMLL. Maybe for some indies early on; it's hard to tell, and I wouldn't be the one to know for sure. Guest HBK16 Report post Posted May 11, 2002 It might have been the tecnicos they cheer for. I just see them cheering for both of them sometimes. Well, thanks for the help guys. I appreciate it.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted May 13, 2002 let's not forget the Rudo Super Fans that sit in the front row!!!! The old man and the bald guy with the noise makers. Once during the announcers in between match commentaries the old man would wave his noise maker so much that he interrupted Morales 3 times and made him laugh before he could finish his commentary. I think the upper sections are for fans from local neighborhoods, they call Colonias? Did Shocker ever wear a mask?
Guest HBK16 Report post Posted May 13, 2002 Yeah Shocker wore a mask. You can find picture of it at Highpots under commercial mask.
