Karnage Posted February 9, 2005 Report Posted February 9, 2005 Some DVDs, especially the bargain bin titles by those really cheap companies, put in big letters "Digitally Remastered" at the bottom. And of course, if it's by those cheap companies, the transfer looks like an extremely worn out VHS tape at best. When they use the phrase "Digitally Remastered" is it false advertising or is there some legal loophole? Like "Remastering" is considered to be something that is transferred from a Computer or something.
eiker_ir Posted February 9, 2005 Report Posted February 9, 2005 i guess since it goes thru a computes it's made digital and that right there is considered as digital remastering. plus those DVDs cost like 3 bucks so you can't expect much.
