Hey I heard some where in the WWF thread that my man Kenta Kobashi got paralyzed some way. I have not seen alot of Japan shit but I saw him a couple times and he is awesome. I jsut want to know when this happened and how and if he will ever get better???? Will he ever walk again???? How old is he and how long has he wrestled????

I think he has knee problems, and has had to have surgery a few times. The may have also screwed up in one of them, well not really screwed up, but didn't perform it correctly so that he needed corrective surgery or something. Don't quote me though.

Kobashi was born on march 27 1967 so he's only in his mid-30's, he made his debut febuary 26 1988. He has had major knee problems because of his high impact style mostly his moonsaults which are knee killers. He has had extensive surgeries on his knee but has always overcome that with his unmatched fighting spirit, hopefully he won't be a shell of his former self after his latest comeback. Try going to http://www.geocities.com/colosseum/bench/5904/jp040599.htm for a great article on him.

My god man, have some compassion for us puro fans. I actually popped in my puro-music mix CD just before logging and Kobashi's theme hits on my stereo and I read "Kobashi crippled"? I'm thinking, NO!

False alarm. But he still could end up crippled considering his wrestling style.

It's Hayabusa who's paralyzed, not Kobashi.  Kenta's wrestling Sunday, so he's probably not that bad off right now.

Well, relatively.  I think I read somewhere that Mutoh's in such bad condition that his doctors have told him not to take more than 300 steps per day, yet he still wrestles.  Hell, Liger worked with a frickin' brain tumor.  Those guys are tough beyond belief.
