Guest TUS_02 Report post Posted February 12, 2002 I was driving down one of the roads around my college and I passed by what usually was the Red Lobster... now it's a place called Ninety-Nine. Anyway, I've heard the name thrown around from a couple buddies of mine online who live in MA, so Im wondering if anyone could tell me what type of place this is/price range/good service etc... THANK YOU!
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted February 12, 2002 Well, it's just like a Chilis, or a T.G.I. Fridays. It's got burgers, steak and chicken dishes. The price is pretty reasonable for a restaurant and the service is good. But their buffalo wing suck ass. If you can find a TK O'Malleys (there are only 2 in MA) go there, kickass buffalo wings, great sandwiches, pretty hot hostesses.
Guest DubWiser Report post Posted February 12, 2002 99's are cool. Kingpk pretty much summed it up. Go there, hit the bar, eat some red meat and watch the C's.
Guest mw679 Report post Posted February 13, 2002 Chalk up another vote for the 99. Good prices, good food, and I've never had a bad experience eating there. Although, the waitresses are only allowed to serve so many drinks at a table...don't know if that goes for all restaurants here in MA, but I've only heard that rule at the 99. Although if you do exceed your limit at the table you can just hit the bar for another drink.
Guest mykatissatan Report post Posted February 14, 2002 Yea the Red Lobster in RI just turned into a BBQ place, seemingly overnight. It wasnt 99 though, which is worth your time.
Guest AmericanNightmareEWA Report post Posted February 15, 2002 My one experience at 99 was pretty good, I remember being really hungry and ordering the rack of ribs, the damn thing was nearly 3/4's the length of my arm. Food was good. Prices were good. Waitress was a bit slow (which is really a non-factor in chain restuarnts as you're never bound to have the same waitress as someone who tells you about a resturant from a different state)
Guest ScottEW Report post Posted February 20, 2002 Add another vote in favor of the 99...Good food relatively cheap...Myself, I'd rather hit the Cheesecake Factory, but it's a tad more expensive...But GOOD GOOD stuff...Luckily the girlfriend paid for it last night...HA!
