Haku was named King in his place since Race was going to retire. Race then returned sometime around October 1988, and there was slight hints if Race and Haku had any tension since both were managed by Heenan. The match was set for the Rumble, with the winner being the true king. Haku won, Race soon left again, and thats all she wrote
