Guest Mikey2Dope Report post Posted May 12, 2002 Well I for one am very pumped for this movie. It's due out on August 9th of this year and I think if they do it just like the show and the CKY vids that it will be awesome(Johnny Knoxville has already suffered a concussion and numerous other injuries doing stunts for this). Anyone else wanting to see this flick?

Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted May 12, 2002 Oh dear God... you can't be serious?! I was glad when I heard Mr. Knoxville left "Jackass" for a "movie career", since Deuces Wild and Big Trouble are both failures and I'd never have to hear from him again. You sure this is for real? I mean, there's no mention of it AT ALL on IMDb...

While we're off-topic, am I the only one disappointed to find out that Tommy Lee Jones is in MiB:2? Those who've seen the original will know what I mean... whatever happened to Linda Fiorentino? Guest Report post Posted May 13, 2002 What could they possibly do in the theaters that they havent done in CKY. Its juts CKY with more people and a bigger screen.
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted May 13, 2002 Ummm... I don't watch "Jackass", what the hell is a CKY? Not that it really matters since I don't care about "Jackass" and never would watch it, I'm just curious as to what the initials stand for.
Guest Report post Posted May 13, 2002 Camp Kill Yourself, and to supply more information that you don't want, it was a series of videos with the current, er, former Jackass folk doing the same stuff, just no editing out nudity or cursing that predated the show. Guest Report post Posted May 13, 2002 While we're off-topic, am I the only one disappointed to find out that Tommy Lee Jones is in MiB:2? Those who've seen the original will know what I mean... whatever happened to Linda Fiorentino? They didn't bring her back because: 1. She is a bitch to work with (or so everyone says). 2. She can't draw money, and Tommy Lee Jones can.
Guest Mikey2Dope Report post Posted May 13, 2002 Oh dear God... you can't be serious?! I mean, there's no mention of it AT ALL on IMDb... http://www.jackassthemovie.com/main3.html And an excerpt from an interview with Knoxville(putting an end to rumors that he died doing a stunt): While he isn't dead, he is hurting a lot. He is filming "Jackass: The Movie," due in theaters on Aug. 9, and has suffered a concussion, a broken toe and wounds from dog bites as a result. The 31-year-old has been to the emergency room three times because of stunts performed in the movie. "Right now, I have a hard time sitting up," he says. He anticipates another trip this weekend because of a planned stunt. On a side note I think Knoxville will do great in movies. I really enjoyed Big Trouble and think he is very charismatic and will have a good future ahead of him. I mean if he turned down a role on SNL to do Jackass people in Hollywood must find him funny. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 13, 2002 Well i don't have a problem with the movie and i enjoyed the show(those who didn't need to lighten up). But i honestly don't know why they would put it into theaters. Direct to Video would probably be a better route for this type of movie. I mean it's just a bunch of guys doing stunts not much to actually make a movie from. But i guess if Ultimate X can get a theater release so can "Jackass". Well as far as Knoxville's acting career he's just doing small roles at this point. So since he's not doing major roles the movies he does now won't affect his movie future if he has one. Guest converge241 Report post Posted May 13, 2002 yeah i cant wait i love camp kill yourself and have been taping those nifty 1100 repeats oj Jackass.. i saw em all the first run but never taped them..if its coming out against XXX, ill see them both
Guest Ripper Report post Posted May 13, 2002 Big Trouble was a funny movie. I'm sure box office numbers might have been hurt by it being pushed back a freakin year.
Guest Mark4steamboat Report post Posted May 14, 2002 Ultimate X is on iMax right?
Guest The Great Wesuke Report post Posted May 17, 2002 You guys are actually serious about wanting to see XXX aren't you? That looks like the most unintentionaly funny movie of the summer if nothing else. I was almost pissing my pants laughing at the trailer because it looked so damn cheesy. I'm sure it will have a lengthy stay on TBS 'movies for guys who like movies' one day. Not that I dislike those movies... I just like them for all the wrong reasons. Guest The Great Wesuke Report post Posted May 17, 2002 Also... Jackass the movie will rock the party indeed. Something I must see. I don't think it has a big enough audience to do well though.

Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted May 17, 2002 I will go see Jackass...I enjoyed the tv show, and I think seeing it in a theatre environment with other immature people will be fun. and that is post #200...I would be over 500 if my old stats from the old board carried over...ah well. Guest Report post Posted May 17, 2002 xxx hahahahah any movie with vin diesel will suck. He is one of the worst actors of all time but somehow he thinks he is the man. ON top of that, the movie itself looks like it has a bad script. When you combine those 2 things it's not likely to be a good movie --Rob
