Indy wrestler suffers injury and concussion

Diablo Santiago, who works as one half of the Outcast Killaz in Ring of Honor and several other independent promotions suffered a concussion tonight while working for Frank Goodman's USA Xtreme Wrestling in Bethpage, Long Island.

 

During a tag match featuring the Killaz vs. The Solution, Havoc picked up Diablo and lost his grip. Diablo crashed out of the ring onto his head and shoulders and was taken to a nearby hospital once an ambulance arrived. He never lost consciousness but was complaining of pain in his feet.

 

Santiago was diagnosed with a concussion and will be held overnight for observation.

 

Hopfully this isn't to bad. Sounsd like a pretty sick move but hopfully he can return to the ring asap.

Yeah, that sounded sick. I heard that in comments he did after the injury, since they had to rip his gear to work on him, he said he has to go back to wearing his old gear for a bit.

 

The Outcast Killahz are scheduled for an indy fed near me this Friday. Who knows if that match will go through.
