A question about

This may be a silly question--okay, it is a silly question--but hear me out: When's the last time Sabu went an entire match without blowing a spot? I can't claim to have followed his career too closely, but every match I've seen him in has him fucking up at least one (1) spot. Can anyone reference any matches he didn't blow?

I remember seeing the time he lost the NWA world title to Mike Rapada around Christmas of 2000, which was a shockingly good match.  Except for a slightly wayward arabian facebuster at the end (he cut his hand open, but didn't blow the move itself) I don't think he missed anything, despite limping badly the entire night.

A lot of Sabu matches end with him limping badly and/or bleeding from his hand.

He had some matches in WWF and WCW and I don't really recall him blowing spots there. The matches were short though (like five minutes) so he only had time for one or two insane moves.

Sabu rules.  I think a lot of his blown spots come from injuries sustaned during the match he is wrestling.  His matches just wouldn't be the same if he doesn't fuck up a few moves and damn near kill himself.

Then he should compensate the injuries by working a more mat-based style. I like high-flying stuff, but if the high flier isn't going to hit his spots, I don't want to see it.

He just wouldn't be Sabu then.  Blown spots or not I think his matches are still pretty exciting to watch.

Like Dreamer said it just wouldn't be Sabu if he didn't blow his spots and totally gave up the high flying. He wouldn't be half as exciting without them.

from what i've seen of Sabu, he seems like he's in a hurry to perform many of his spots.  I dunno if that attributes to his blown spots or not, but he should at least take his time

He does always look like he's in a hurry but that is his style.  Once he gets an opponent down he rushes to hit the next big moves.
