When Buying WWE Tickets Through Ticketmaster?

Recommended Posts

Guest wootman

When I go the ticketmaster site, they say you can have tickets from what's "best available". Well, what if the "best available" seat is on like say the hard camera side, but you'd actually rather be on the other side? They let you choose which floor you'd like to be on but not what specific section of the floor. Like say Section 101 is where you have to take your seat if you want to be on the lower floor, but you'd actually rather be in Section 108 on the other side for example. There doesn't seem to be any option at ticketmaster.com to change that. Should I call by phone perhaps instead and would they let me choose what specific section I would like to sit at?

Seeing how I don't have much experience buying tickets to anything, that's why I am asking.

You can only choose areas by ticket price, not specific sections.

By the way, as of a few days ago, you and five of your friends could still sit on the floor, 15th row.

Oh ok. It's not that big of a deal at house shows, but at TV tapings, I'd like to be on a specific side. I guess I'll just hope that I get lucky and the seat available is where I want it to be.

If there's a plus to WWE's sagging business, it's that you can almost always get a good seat.

Here's what I do to choose my seat:

-Get a sections map of the venue you'll be attending (they have them on the Ticketmaster page).

-Decide on the area you'd like to sit in.

-Select which area you want (it'll give you choices like upper level, lower level, floor, etc.)

-Keep requering for tickets until one closest to where you want to sit comes up.

This works, because I was able to get on camera just about all night the last time Raw was in KC.

Tip: You'll be more likely to get a good seat if you go by yourself.

Smackdown- dec. 2001 #6 in line at my local ticketmaster, but 2nd to buy since I was paying credit card (no idea why I got special treatment) and I bought 4 tickets.

By that point, my tickets were already for section E. A-D already filled up. We had

"row 2" seats, but that meant third row b/c there's row "AA" where all the families and stuff sit. And yes, that was the side with the cameras, so we didn't get on TV.

They even took our signs from us.

So if your venue is like the New Orleans arena, avoid section e.
