Oh, this weeks title brought to you by the song "Strokin'" by Clarence Carter. -Debra Hill, who's production credits include "Halloween","The Fog", and "Escape from New York", passed away recently at the age of 54 after a 13 month battle with cancer. Quoteing director John Carpenter from an Yahoo news article, Debra was "a real pioneer in this business. Unlike many producers, she came from the crew ranks. I think they’re the most underappreciated people, and they work the hardest. She had experienced the ins and the outs and had a thorough understanding of what it took to make a picture" -Actors Johnny Depp and John Cusack joined friends and family of the late Hunter S. Thompson's private memorial service this weekend. -Fred Durst is suing a website for publishing that porn video of his that recently got leaked on the net. In other news, I unfortunately have seen pictures, and all I can say is that Mr. Durst has a tiny penis. -Disney is hoping to do a "Passion of the Christ" like film for kids. The film will most likely not be called "Jesus and the Awful,Horrible, No-Good Really Bad Day" -Filmax has currently completed working on the film "Beneth Still Waters", which was directed by Brian Yuzna. The film stars Raquel ("Dagon") Meroño, Charlotte Salt,Patrick Gordon, and Diana Peñalver (the heroine Paquita from Peter Jackson's "Dead Alive"). Also, Yuzna's film "Rottweiler" hits DVD via Lions Gate This Summer -Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen have split up to the surprise of well, no one. Really, can you expect Charlie Sheen to stay married for very long? -And finally, Jeff Lieberman's ("Just Before Dawn", "Squirm") cult flick "Blue Sunshine" will be remade by MGM.
