Guest Black Tiger Posted May 13, 2002 Report Posted May 13, 2002 NOAH really sucks right now. Age is catching up to Misawa, Kobashi is hurt, Yoshinari Ogawa is the GHC champion. New Japan is in trouble with low attendance figures, and some bad cards. New Japan and NOAH are on good terms obviously, since Misawa put on a match at the 5/2 Dome show. Jun Akiyama and Yugi Nagata had a hell of a match with Kenta Kobashi and Mitsuharu Misawa. New Japan should try to run an Invasion angle type with NOAH. Guys like Vader, Akiyama, Misawa, Takayama, Omori, would help boost match quality in the heavyweight divison and juniors like KENTA, and Mike Modest would help with the junior divison. The fan interest would probably skyrocket and figures would go up, All Japan wouldn't have a prayer and New Japan can do it without Mutoh, Ka Shin, and Kojima making them regret their choices to leave.
