Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted March 21, 2005 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Tim Duncan is hurt with a grade 2 sprain on the ankle that never really healed from the last injury. Well this might shake up things in the West slightly if it turns out to be more severe than just missing the next couple games, which come at New York and then against an O'Neal-less Pacers squad. I'm still hoping for the Suns to make and win the Finals this year, though. They're just so fun to watch. Now that BC is out of the tourny, the city of Boston has no choice but to focus on the Celtics. I think the city will be pleasantly surprised- 11-1 over the last 12 games, 5 1/2 game lead over the struggling Philly. Erm, the Red Sox just started Spring Training and the MLB season is right around the corner... But then again, it IS baseball...
strummer 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2005 Once April 3rd hits, the city of Boston wouldn't care if Larry Bird, Bob Cousy, and John Havlicek came out of retirement, were put in a time machine back to their primes, and led them to the finals. Boston is all about baseball.
